	They have yet to incorporate the fact that Superstars can leave the ring under the bottom or second rope. They are restricted, Superstars can hide, fight outside, shit like that. The struggle should be grander, should be pressing certain combinations rather than button mashing. Depending on ur overall rating. Like it would be very hard to eliminate Taker, but not so much for say a created superstar with 50 overall.

	If people went outside the ring and brought weapons in, it would be havoc in the ring. There'd be nowhere to move, that's a stupid idea. Agreed that they need more animations for eliminations. Skinning the cat, ganging up on people, clotheslines over the top ropes etc, as The Hazard said. ------------------- Mary had a little lamb but I went with the beef.

	SmackDown!: Just Bring It had that feature. I think because it requires quite the amount of space, but if they could manage it so there could only be 8 people in Royal Rumbles, and possibly the Lumberjack match, should it make a return, I'd be all for it. -------------------

	Why do we need name bars in the Royal Rumble ? Surly if these were not here we could have more superstars in the ring at the same time. Also You could have your wrestler automatically taunt or something to show you have a finisher stored. Maybe this could lead to a special Elimination ?? ------------------- Credit to Natman 4

	Decided to bump this thread as there has been some very forthcoming information about the Royal Rumble and its improvements. I think many of us will be quite pleased: quote Royal Rumble The Royal Rumble is back and better than ever in WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010, with more ways to eliminate your opponents than ever before! Dispatching foes in the Royal Rumble is no longer handled solely through button mashing, as there are now three new mini-games that govern who wins and loses those all-important struggles at the ropes, in the corner and on the apron. In addition, you now have the ability to dispatch your opponents with the use of Royal Rumble Finishers specifically designed to send Superstars over the ropes and down to the floor below. Elimination Mini games include... •Middle Rope Elimination– Rapidly press the flashing button to gain the upper hand. You can escape this position instantly if you have a finisher stored. •Corner Elimination – Press the button that appears on screen before your opponent to gain the advantage. You can escape this position instantly by using a stored finisher. •Bottom Rope Elimination – To eliminate your opponent, stop the cursor in the blue target zone by pressing A. Rapidly press the buttons to escape elimination from this position. You can escape this position instantly by using a stored finisher. •Royal Rumble Finisher – When you’ve built up a finishing move, put your opponent in any one of the aforementioned positions and let ’em have it! If that's not enough, there's the video TruTrey posted in the Info thread to give us a little preview. Specific Rumble finishers, possibly? Liking this more and more. -------------------

	Yeah, they added the little things which make the match that more realistic. The commentators now announce which superstar is entering the fray, and you can see the entering superstar taunt and flaunt a little on the stage instead of generically running/walking down the ramp. -------------------

	Looks really good in the video, only thing I'm hoping for now is that when you have a tag team in the rumble they don't just immediatly start attacking eachother, would like to see some teamwork like batista/finlay at the start of the video instead of just coming in and beating on their partner as if their rivals. Probably unlikely to do, but would be a cool feature I think.
