I know there's a general RtW thread, but I don't want to open it in case the other storylines get spoiled for me, so here I am.


I'm in Week 2, trying to unlock Jesse by hitting everyone with a finisher. Problem is I can't build up my bar fast enough, which is mainly because I don't know how to pull off any of Edge's signature moves. So two things:

a) Any tips? and

b) How do I do Edge's signature moves?


This whole "Maria as GM" angle better be going somewhere good, it's lame right now.

Forget signatures, simply nail finishers everywhere, one per person. Relatively simple, just don't let anyone get pinned, focus on one man, beat him down and use him as a "punching bag", because your bar fills up a lot quicker when you do moves on a weak opponent.

The storyline does pick up later, lol, it's something I would at least envision happening on TV. All I can say is without spoiling too much is that Edge's facial expressions are priceless.

Do you happen to know his signature moves though?

I just want them to build my bar to the finisher. I feel that once you get into S range, the bar fills up way quicker if you pull off a signature move than if you keep hitting/grappling.

Honestly, I only used one of them once in the entire RTW because it is a bit hard to pull off, it's the Edge-o-matic, and you need to have the opponent runs towards you. I found it easier to build up the bar and get the spear or Edgecution. I don't even know the other one, but I'd guess it's that submission move he does sometimes...I'm an impact sort of person, so I usually bypass submissions.

The same as '09, he has the standard running spear that you can do as a running attack (Believe me, you'll need to master this to get ahead in some of his RTW matches) and the same finishing spear from '09, which is no problem, because it is well-animated.

Isn't his spear re-animated? He spears his opponent like a cannon now, or something.

To do his sig moves you need to throw your opponent into the ropes and wait for them to come back to you.

Best way to find Superstar Signatures is to go to create mode.

I just finished the Edge storyline lol. There were times I thought it would be actually interesting, but in the end it was lame.

Meh, maybe the other ones would be more interesting.

not that I'm aware of pedigree...

best part about edges RTW was the character u unlock when u complete it....

Does pressing X make any difference to not pressing X? I mean, after some time, the game automatically presses X for you. =\

Sometimes it will lead you to a different ending.



I always replay the RTW's and do the opposite of what i did last time. Sometimes it's different.

Orton's three minute match for me was easy since many of his attacks damage the head, and the RKO just adds on to it. Other wrestlers have attacks that damage mostly the head or the body, with a finisher that damages the other one. I think with HHH's 3 minute match I kept using body attacks, so when I'd pedigree my opponent, they'd kick out since their head wasn't too badly hurt.

Edge is the next story I'm going to do, so I need to learn his moveset to figure out which attacks hurt the body of his opponents, so the spear will finish them off.
