I heard from a reliable source that DOAX 2 is coming out for the Xbox 2 or the Xbox.If you have any other news, post it.

Itagaki further revealed that DOAX 2, a sequel to Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball would be forthcoming in the future, though it may not deal with the sport of volleyball this time out.

DOA 4 is the main project for now. Without DOA4, there will be no Ninja Gaiden2, DOAX2 or Cronus.

Itagaki says that their main focus is now on the Xbox 2. Their next game will most likely be on the next console.

The Xbox 2 is supposed to come out at the end of 2005. The Xbox 2/PC hybrid thingy should be out early 2006.

Yea, no kidding. I'd rather them focus on practising how to scramble eggs then make another DOAX game. To each his own, but I didn't care for DOAXVB too much. The fighting games are great, and they should stick with them.

This one might not be a volleyball game. Maybe a different type of sport. I like the idea of dodgeball. I would also rather they focus on a fighting game though. It would be cool to have a sports minigame or something, like mentioned in the episode of "Icons" with Tomonobu Itagaki.

Dodgeball, I like that idea. Would be interesting to see how they impliment it though. Would make for some fun Online though . If I had my way, I would have a massive DOA game that included a fighter, vollyball (or anything else that you would like) Oh well, who knows, Tecmo is very secretive until the last minute... just as long as it's better than the first one, thats all that matters.

Well, tecmo just announced that it will be another vollyball game... in other words, another money grab. Too bad. They should make it an extra for the next doa game

Gah, that's too bad. Ah well. I actually thought the first DOAX was pretty darn fun, but they just overdid things a bit. And they should have added 4-player support and maybe made the volleyball system a little more complex. Pretty fun game though.

Man, I used to check up on the gaming news every day... I would always look for news from Team Ninja. I haven't for like a long time now. Maybe that's a good sign... Idk.

the 1st doax was fun for the 1st couple hours (bassicly watching hitomi punt ayanes face across the vollyball court) but there was 2 buttons.... TWO!!

Lol Jim, that's why I didn't buy it.

It was actually pretty fun. They could have tweaked the gameplay a little and included 4-player capabilities though.

Tweaks, yea, tweaks as in you need to press more than two buttons... that and the computer does everything for you... and the graphics were sorta choppy... yea, it was rushed.
