re: Storyline

I, personally, had no problem with Hyrule in TP. Maybe expand the areas you can got to, because there are a LOT of empty spaces on the map. But I would prefer something like in LttP where you had a bird carry you around, because Midna just freaked me out.

re: Storyline

maybe halfway into the game ganon loses the triforce of power.
he works WITH link against an enemy who is trying to: 1-get all the triforces
2- unflood hyrule
3-clash all of the LoZ worlds together-labrynna, holodrum, hyrule, termina, world of ocean king, sacred realm, twilight and all the otheres
4-use the power from that to create the tetraforce[link name=] http://www.zeldawiki.org/Tetraforce [/link]
5-destroy the world and make another.

re: Storyline

tetra force seems like an interesting idea. there should be a 4th god that defected from the other 3 who created his own piece of force but was cast out thus creating the triforce instead. The triforce of control, being the center piece that holds all the pieces together

Nintendo have confirmed that the tetra force does not and will not exist.

re: Storyline

I'd like to have Link the same age as he was in Twilight Princess or maybe a little older. Hopefully the storyline is a bit deeper this time around and if the game utilises the Wii Motion Plus controls it will be amazing.

re: Storyline

Teraforce sounds interesting, but speculative fan fiction is rarely the how the game stories are written. If the fans think of it, its probably not going to happen in a game. It is fun to speculate though. The more I think about it, the sillier I think it is to speculate on one early artwork.

Reguardless I want this game to be a little more open and different, from the rest. The series is still great, but its seemed a little typecast by its popularity in recent games.

Generally it used to be every other Zelda game didn't have Gannondorf, but I think they stopped that pattern.

re: Storyline

y'know, at first there was only 2 triforces. then they revealed a hidden one. how about another hidden one? or an item that can make the triforce into a true physical form, and use it in a sword for the final battle.

re: Storyline

I liked the earlier idea about the Hyruliean Civil War. It would be interesting to play a game like that, although it would be hard to create a plot around it.

If you wanted a different protagonist, it could have different holders of the triforce, maybe link (reincarnated maybe?) keeping his...

re: Storyline

ok ok, so i'm a noob at this stuff but i still payed every zelda game, so i agree with everyone that all the games after Oot were really lame for trying to profit off of Oot's success, problem? yes! like with hollyoods hoards of terrible sequels zelda managed to shell out countless crappy games, with no dept, and mediocre storylines at best. now why do we NOT want another zelda with ganondorf and hyrule, and maybe even zelda or link!!! well i think its because we've been dissapointed to many times already... so whats the logical idea? well i like the great hyruloan civil war... which includes hyrule, can include ganondorf as the leader of the gerudos, so he can be a boss but not the main villain, gotta have a zelda? well yeah its called the legend of zelda... can she be links mom in a strange twist of events? heck why not... but the most important thing... the absolute must! which allllll games after Oot have neglected to put in... ??? what u say? what would make any zelda game, no matter what they think of 100X better... what little bit of gaming fun can they borrow from Oot??? hmm i think its time these guys take their own medicine and realize what made Oot one of the best if not the best game in the series. ? if you are a true fan u already know... actual game play :@ thats whats been missing... how many side quests can u think of in Oot... how many dungeons! plys ganons castle! getting the diffferent swords, and shields, and this and that and upgrades, and having to plant beans to get heart pieces etc and so forth how many... i think there was more to do in Oot than in all zelda games thereafter! seriousely i beat majoras mask with all items and side quests in 2 days. borrrring! items that are useless other than for five minutes of gameplay also plague all other zelda games, and lengthy agrevating travel by boat :@... oh yeah now i'm just ranting, but tell me i'm wrong, tell me when u pick up ur old Oot cartridge its not heavy, and the majoras mask cartridge is feather light! if they come out with a zelda game that has 12 temples, u can play as a kid or adult again, or transform into other things at least, and had about 1000 side quests which were puzzling tell me u wouldnt be tearing as u play from excitement... like getting the iron boots in Oot was almost like another temple, like a mini temple, or the eye of truth! and not only were there heart pieces to collect but spiders also,,, i mean why not make me collect something also, all i want is gameplay put all those fun items to use, not just go from temple to temple until i beat the boss... ok i'm done, i could keep going endlessly of how zelda has been dissapointing me all theses years since 1998. oh sugary milli-roboto get ur act together!

re: Storyline

I thought MM had way more side quests than OoT. You had the skull houses and mask collecting as well as the heart pieces. There were also mini dungeons as well in MM such as the Gerudo Fortress and Ikana Castle. But OoT did have way more actual level dungeons though. But even OoT doesn't have the most dungeons in a game. That award belongs to the original legend of zelda. It has a whole 18 dungeons in the whole game granted thats counting both quests. Then A Link to the Past comes in 2nd with 11 dungeons. OoT has 9 dungeons which is actually tied with TP 3 for the shadow pieces, 4 for the mirror, the twilight level, and finally Hyrule castle. You said OoT has 12 dungeons so im guessing you are considering The Well, The Ice Cavern, and the Gerudo Fortress.

re: Storyline

lol, i guess i ranted on too long, i dint say Oot had 12 dungeons, i guess u just skimmed through all my jargon haha. i just said i'd like the next installment to have 12 dungeons, 18 would be too many because then they would make 18 similar lame dungeons i think
