Oh, the Gold issue has to be different. It was far too easy to obtain gold in fable 2. They should have where you have to pay for things, like taxes, bills. But, for some odd reason, I can't picture this game NOT being like sims.
it was very easy to make gold in fable 1 too...that is once you leved up a bit.

Well, we all know that Molyneux gets us curious by making vague, intriguing statements like this one. Then he can apply it to whichever game feature he choses and go, "See? I told you I was gonna do this."

I'm betting it might have to do with the fact that the game doesn't end when you become monarch. Many open RPGs allow for play after you've ascended to the highest status the game provides for, but there aren't yet any out there - that I can think of - that allow you to use that status in any significant way. It sounds like Fable III aims to change that by making the bulk of gameplay occur after you've taken the throne.

Lol, before I get flamed, I know there are some pros to Fable II but not enough to keep my attention for more then two playthroughs...

It needs more of an RPG aspect, much like Bethesda have done with Oblivion and Fallout. Having said that though, I myself have played through Fable 2 more than twice.
