Howdy!

I see a new post every once in awhile so I figured it's time I spoke up. I discovered Disgaea only about 6 months ago by accident while surfing the net. Of course I couldn't get it anywhere locally (Blockbuster wouldn't even order it, Boo!)
Anyway I'm on my third playthrough. I've transmigrated all my ten main characters once(except my majin that I just recently acquired). Laharl -- lvl 320, the rest around 260 - 280.

Thanks to everyone who's offered advice/strategy on this site and others.

And oh yeah. Disgaea IS THE BEST GAME EVER!!

Plan to get D2, and D3? Well, D3 is on the PS3, so you might be out of luck, I dunno >_>

You might also want to look at Phantom Brave (not terribly popular, but still), or Makai Kingdom (better than PB IMO). They play a bit different than the Disgaea games (no grid, for example), but they're still worth checking out, and next to D1, I think I spent the most time on Makai Kingdom, even more than D2 I think (mainly because I was waiting for D2 to come out)....

I'm a big Disgaea fan..I have both 1 and 2..played 1 almost to completion and am close to the end of 2.

3 is out in Japan, has been for few months now as you probably know..but I don't have a ps3 and it will be some time before I get one if ever...

I like the games..there's something precious and quirky about them..

I'm ZtD, and I've just got Disgaea 1, been playing for about 34 hr. now, and am totally obsessed. -Explanation of Name- ZtD stands for "ZODIACK the Destroyer", a character I created for myself way long ago for the Final Fantasy VII forum on Gametalk. The name is a play on both the name "Zack"(FFVII character) and the capitalization of "WEAPON" monsters throughout FFVII: "Z-odi-ACK".

Disgaea will keep you busy for many hours to come....Then the second one.....Then the third one (if you have a PS3)....Not to mention Makai kingdom and Phantom brave XD

Well hello back, and it's nice to hear a compliment on an online forum. I'm up to 57 hr. now.....first cycle complete! EDIT 117 Hr now...EDIT Wait, how did I get 117 hours??? I must have been thinking about something else.....got like 94 hr. now.
