To get a thief you must get a brawler and warrior (any gender) to Level 5(you will also get the Scout).

Well... now I have a Rogue, a Scout, and a Ronin. I can't say I'm really fond of the Rogue, he is slow to go up in anything. >_<

Currently I'd have to say my favorite, created, character is my Red Mage, Cara. She has the best reach, and can do some serious damage (for my level ) especially with the Moon Orb equipped.

I know, I know, I'm still really early in the game (She is only 13th level), but I'm still rather happy with her.

As much as you may hate it, if you want everything in the game; you might want to level that rouge up. (Also the only way to get a majin.)

Scout or Rogue? I'm loving the scout, he's running around shooting the holy heck out of everything.

Its the Rogue that I'm annoyed with, I finally got him up to level 6, but he is still a minimum of 3 levels behind everyone else. >_<

What's the best weapon for a Rogue? Currently I just have him equiped with a sword, but if there is something better that he should be using...

hm i just equipped him with belts and STRONG weapons other than dat he's useless

Giving a Rouge a Gun is perhaps the best thing to do. For one, it keeps the softies out of melee for the most part, two, they have rank D for the weapon, which is a lot better than most of their other weapons. Last but not least, they have ok Hit that raises at 100%. Not only that, you can tag a pair Glasses and really raise it's damage. Yet, you can really give him what ever you want.~Atari

They are C in gun. Gun is also based on hit stat, not strength, and they have good hit aptitude.

In other news, I finally went through one of my legendary Durandal's and WOW. The Apocalypse is hands down the sweetest looking thing in the game. It doesn't even look like an axe, it's basically a scythe. I recommend all go out and get one immediatly. I'm creating an axe wielding Majin just to dominate with it.

i got mine up to level 1500 but i still can't steal from those level 3000 baddies. you could also steal exp. from enemies, you know.

the gun would really be the best weapon for them thieves. just use a really strong sword and some winged slayer skills when you're about to level him up at cave of ordeals.

Uh, Shadow, is that not what I just said? Any way, only half the Rouges forms have A score of "C" in their Gun learning curve. (and those, of course, are the last 3 forms) It is better just to refer to the first forms for some one who's starting out any way, since that is all that the person will have.~Atari
