Are you bored of all the usual super leagues? Are you tired of signing up for competitions that never seem to progress?
Well it all changes right here!!!
We asked some of you what kind of competition you would like for FM10 and here is what you said:
constantplanck: I think we should have something which is fun for all the family
stereo441: It has to broaden our minds and make us think theoretically
Skadoosh: Got to have lots of Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies or it won't be good at all
Kesh: A competition which lets us find out that with great power comes great responsibility
I have taken all those points to form a super league that no one has ever dreamed of, the best super league around:
The Modiga Express International Super League
What is it?
It will be similar to other super leagues where everyone has a team and will buy players for extreme prices but the difference will be that instead of club teams, everyone will start off with a national team. There will be two divisions each made up of twelve teams, with the Premier Division having the top countries from around the world and the Second Division having the next top twelve.
What do you have to do?
If you are in the first twelve people to sign up then you have to pick a number between 1 and 12. If you are in the next twelve people then you will have to pick a number between 13 and 24.
Along with picking a number you will have to decide your managers name.
When each section of twelve is filled up then I will reveal which team you all are and then you have to choose a 23 man squad using players of the nationality that you are. (Will discuss with you when this should be [Before or After release of demo/game])
Either before or after squad selection (depending when we do it) I will allocate each team a certain amount of points to use on different aspects for your team (e.g. Budget increase)
After squad has been selected by everyone, the transfer window will open with Premier Division teams having £500mil to spend while Second Division teams will have £300mil to spend.
After the window has closed there will then be a list of players (not in your teams) who you will be able to privately bid on with the highest bid getting the player.
The league will then start and a transfer window will open half way through and at the end.
There might be more things which I haven't thought of yet and this will hopefully go on for many seasons.
Rules!
Post limit = 100 for now but will go down depending how many sign up within certain times.
Your chosen players for your squad must have their main nationality for your country.
Transfer windows will have certain deadlines to get things finished (first window might be open for a while depending how the process will go)
Injuries will be reset
