![]() ![]() Date 01/06/2009 Its amazing how prominent money has become in today's game, transfer fee's soaring into the silly millions, wages rocketing, and to a lesser extent ticket prices creeping above what the average income can afford, but today's announcement has taken things to a whole new level. 2 hours ago outside FIFA Headquarters....... ![]()
Stay tuned for more info and reactions as we get it............. This message was edited by stereo441 on Oct 13 2009. | |

![]() Date 03/06/2009 "Details are still a little sketchy, however rumours surrounding the first team in this alleged new league are beginning to surface......"
![]()
Not much is know of Magellan's new manager Juan Sebastián Elcano, but he has close links with the clubs owner, and is sure to stamp his South American 'flair' on the side, with the help of newly announced Assistant Manager Jose Mourinho. Ferdinand Magellan currently ply their trade in the Estadio Trinidad stadium, a purpose built 50,000 seater stadium with state of the art facilities. The club is very reliant on their super rich owner who is expected to pump money into the side, with an emphasis on improving facilities top of his list of priorities. Magellan will not have any European football to look forward to next season after earning a 10th place finish in the league, something which is sure to drive on their signature forward, Wayne Rooney, who will be craving a return to the big time! The earthy colours of Magellan's kits are perhaps indicative of the money funding the club, as is the sponsorship, "Lucky Stripe", a new brand of cigarette who have pumped several million into securing their name on the front of the new sides kits: THE KITS
CREDIT DEC "There has been quite a negative reaction from fans an press alike as these rumours become more prominent, one fan stating, "This is the end of football, these damn thugs are just going to ruin things". As of yet there has been nothing official, and the press has been hounding Planco for a statment, surrounding his intentions for the club". Further details will be added as we get them!"
