	December 2009 Game of the Month Neoseeker United were confident going into this game, so confident that they made eleven changes prior to the match at the Northolome in Gainsborough. It was proving to be a bad decision from the rookie boss, Jake Doyle as Gainsborough took a 9th minute lead through Ashley Burbeary. Leggy59 got his first goal for the club and so did Arguru in the 17th and 22nd minutes respectively to turn the game on its head. Macleod77 was also amongst the debut goalscorers in the first half as the half ended at 3-1. Arguru snatched a second goal to double his tally as Neo took a vice like grip of the game until, that is, Gainsborough did what no other team had ever done to Neo, score twice past their goalkeeper but Leggy59 doubled his season’s tally in the 78th minute which left Neoseeker 5-2 winners and continued their unbeaten streak in the Blue Square North. Other Matches Neoseeker United 3-1 Workington Neoseeker United 5-0 Corby Neoseeker United 4-0 Altrincham Neoseeker United 2-0 Northwich Fleetwood 0-5 Neoseeker United The festive period kicked off in style for Neoseeker as centre half, wadeycakes headed in his debut goal for the Blue Men in the opening two minutes. Workington soon got a leveller through Daniel Shannon in the 24th minute as Neoseeker looked a bit shaky at the back but the ship was steadied through goals from the new strike partnership of KingTorres and Modiga who were able to snatch goals. Jake Doyle’s revamped style of management and switched to squad rotation and it was working well when Macleod77 and Modiga got early goals for Neo. The first half was finished when KingTorres got a fabulous goal and soon doubled his tally in the second half which was followed by substitute, NickGull in the 78th minute which capped off a fine display. The FA Trophy first round proper was underway as Neo drew their first blue square premier side they have ever faced as Arguru kicked Neo off for a brilliant start with goals in the 9th and 11th minutes and a Nicky Clee own goal put Neo 3-0 up for the half time break and NickGull’s only second half goal six minutes from time as Neo made the 2nd round. Following the 5-2 thrashing of Gainsborough and the 9-0 victory over Northwich earlier in the month, Neo were in red hot form and looking like striking some fear into the hearts of Northwich but two quickfire second half goals from wadeycakes and Leggy59 sealed the victory as they hit the woodwork three times through the duration of the match. The final match of the month was a second away day of the month as Neo thrashed Fleetwood 5-0 with goals coming from twist of fate, wadeycakes, KingTorres, Leggy59 and stereo441. Tables Neoseeker United had now opened up a 30 point gap over Blyth Spartans at the top of the league and if they kept this 100% record form up then they would be champions by February. AFC Telford, Solihull Moors and Gainsborough joined Blyth in the play-off places and Farsley had maintained a place above the drop zone where Gloucester, Harrogate and Northwich were housed. Northwich, who hadn’t even reached double figures in 24 games but they did have that 10 point deduction.

	I think the next update will be tomorrow so you'll have to hang on. I've just finished the second season so today I'll be completing the second half of updates for the second season on Word today. ~ Jakeyd

	January 2010 Game of the Month Jake Doyle’s new festive policy of squad rotation was certainly paying off and the Neoseeker team were reeking the benefits of a healthy squad and a happy squad and one of the recent debutants, Arguru had struck early goals in so many of the Blue Men’s previous games and added another two inside the first ten minutes. NickGull got Neoseeker’s third goal of the night. As the second half transitioned, substitute midfielders, stereo441 and tidus04 got the goals and NickGull capped off a fine performance in the third minute of stoppage time after Redditch got a consolation goal. Other Matches Northwich 0-2 Neoseeker United Neoseeker United 4-0 Ilkeston Neoseeker United 2-0 Wrexham Blyth Spartans 0-6 Neoseeker United Neoseeker United 3-0 Alfreton Town Neoseeker United 3-0 Mansfield Town Neoseeker had faced Northwich twice previously in the season and had scored eleven times in the two games and put another two goals towards that tally as Leggy59 and 31Cattermole put together two goals to gift Neo a 2-0 victory as they pledged for that first promotion. Arguru got the opening goal of Neo’s next match of the new year as Arguru got a third minute goal which contributed to his hat-trick as Ilkeston were down to 10 men and Arguru completed his hat-trick in the second half and the match was capped off by a late Aido goal. A full strength squad was put out for the first cup match of the 2010 year for Neoseeker and it began with a first half flurry from NickGull and tidus04 as Neoseeker pulled out the scalp of the round beating Wrexham 2-0. With Blyth the closest challengers to Neoseeker’s throne that is the Blue Square North Championship, if Neoseeker won then the title was almost theirs. All of the goalscoring was over in the 32nd minute but it was a flurry of goals as Neo pulled out all of the stops which resulted in a 6-0 thrashing with Arguru getting two, AndyD_U getting one and NickGull sealing a first half hat-trick. Neoseeker were one victory away from sealing a play-off place in the Blue Square North play-offs in May at the end of the season but January was just reaching a conclusion. In a close contest, an early Tom219 goal in the first half settled the nerves as two late goals from stereo441 and an own goal from Richard Pell sealed a play-off spot. The time for league squabblings was over as it was time for the FA Trophy third round weekend as Neoseeker United hosted another Blue Square Premier side, Mansfield Town. AndyD_U got the only first half goal with Aido and Leggy59 getting the others which sealed a passage into the latter rounds of the FA Trophy. Tables With a play-off spot guaranteed for Neoseeker United, only four points were needed to win the Blue Square North championship to earn the right to play in the Blue Square Premier next season. AFC Telford, Gainsborough, Solihull Moors and Workington were all in the play-offs with Fleetwood, Southport and Blyth hotly contesting the play-offs with them. Gloucester, Harrogate and Northwich were still stuck in the Blue Square North drop zone and were battling out of it and Northwich finally managed to reach double figures.
