The only way toget smoke grenades in multiplayer is to put the weapon set to "random". But that still doesnt mean that you will definitely get them, you will just have to keep playing with the random weapon set and you should get it eventually.

Yeah, I knew that, but the smoke grenades, I think, are kind of useless.
A great weapon that you can get by setting the weapon set to random is the K-80. I know something handy for smoke grenades! In the skyrail map, get in a trolley thing, then throw the smoke grenade to the back of the trolley thing. It'll make the trolley thing look like it's smoking! You can also do this when playing with your buddies to trick them.
