Jill, she is pretty fast and in a pinch I can use her to heal my other fighters. Cable is overused, but I still like to tack him on to my line-up if I am playing Arcade Mode.

my fave is Ryu,coz he has always been the best for me,and his spical attacks are still ace.

Jill is alot of fun to play and can string together some good combos. I also like how Rouges Power Drain changes depended on who she hits with it. Ruby Heart is solid. Hayato looks damn cool but does remind me of strider (I hate strider). Guile is kicka$$. I love his supers and his speed. I have been a longtime fan of Sakura and the Hulk.

I am very dissapointed with Chun-Li, She has been my top favorite ever since the first Street Fighter 2 game. She seems slow and substandard.

I tend to shy away from the super popular characters like cable they just make me feel dirty for playing them (far too powerful...no challenge) It reminds me of how everyone played Ken for the longest time, I loved being able to stomp them with E. Honda (wish he was in this game) or Chun Li.

the usefulness of characters depends on your fighting style. for people who rely heavily on combos the best are probably strider, wolverine, and spiderman. strider is the best if you use combos however he is useless if you do not use em. i can wreak some havoc with juggernaut, magneto and wolverine. my favorite character has always been dan though (in Vs. games, not alphas). i just cant get enough of the art of taunting. otoko michi!

my favorite is Ryu and Ken. THey are both all around charachters. Plus Ryu has that 3-hit half life super

I just bought Colossus and daaaaaammmmmnnnnnn is he good. Decent speed awesome power and his defenseive super make him the top strong man in the game(sorry Hulk and Juggie). A pity about his other super...it's powerful but almost impossible to land on a human opponent.

impossible to land it on a human opponent?well,follow my combo and u should have your opponent eat that shit!

colossus: opponent at the corner,jump hp(once it hits,quickly cut into the graping move.it was the hadouken motion)the grab move will connect and try to make it spin as fast as possible.after colossus thrown away your opponent,u will land first.otg by c.lk,s.hk,sj.lp,sj.lk,sj.mp,cut into charge move(hadoken motion plus hk),and once u does that,VERY QUICKLY cut into his super and hold your joystick downwards and tab on the punches button.it should deal abt 95% of his life.

if you think that making people going to the corner and do this combo is quite difficult,then try this one.

colossuspponent anywhere on the screen.standing hk,sj.lp,sj.lk,sj.mp,sj,mk,cut into charge attack(hadouken motion with hk),and QUICKLY CUT into the super.hold down your joystick and tab punches.

these 2 combo should let you land the super at your opponent with more than half life gone!

A lot of ppl like to focus on Capcom. But my fav. has to be Wolverine. As long as hes on my team i dont really care about anybody else. Once i get the game ill be able to explore more characters and see who i like? Any recommendations?

well,last time i used to like wolverine at the other games but he was useless in this game.you will know what i mean when u play it.he has very low defense and offence,speed although is fast but there are no gd/abusable moves,no projectile.

some very godly characters include sentinel(arguably the best character),storm,magneto,cable,blackheart, doc. doom,spiral.these are characters very good at fighting.

in this game,anti-air assist is a MUST! without a good anti-air assist,u will get trash like no one business.so,always put an anti-air assist in your team.

good anti-air assist: ken(best anti-air assist),cyclops, captain commando,jin,psylocke,cable.

examples of some assist which helps you pin or make your team dynamic are like: doc.doom(b),storm(r),blackheart(b),
sentinel(r),spiral(a), sabretooth(b).

these are somethings that i personnal think is right/best. anyone who disagree,don't take it to heart.

anyway,my best team is sentinel(r)/cable(a)/doc. doom(b) or change doc. doom into captain commando. if you get this game and you are free,try these groups.of course i have alot other good groups.so if you are keen to learn,you can feel free to ask me question.

lastly,i hope what i typed can be of some helps to you or anyone who is reading.

whenever i feel like beating people at the arcade, i always use iron man, war machine, and gambit. The hyper combo almost kills anyone in one shot and iron man's uni beam does good damage even when blocked. the team i like to have fun with is jin and both wolverines, or jin, gambit, and hayato or silver samurai.

Definitely Jill . . . I love resident evil and in this game she brought all the cliches and she a great overall rough tough fighter plus she's a girl . . . yeah baby yeah
