LAN Play

Hi

I have 2 pcs. I race against my bro in LAN mode.
our pc hardware is the same but for some reason
even though we pick the same cars i still far outrun him.
from my pc the cars are just a whole lot faster
our settings are all the same our pc's are the same
anyone have any ideas ?
