Hi all,

How do you level up all your characters with equal experience, ie. you are only allowed to have three members in your party, so the others don't gaion the experience to Level Up?

Do you have to switch party characters during battle?
I only have four characters so far, what happens when you have six?

Only the three characters that finish the battle will get the experience.

That sucks, so do you basically have to choose your three favourite characters? and switch between the characters a lot?

I personally just used Vaan, Fran and Ashe until like, the final part of the game, and then my other three characters were really weak.

The good part, however is that you can get through the game with 3 characters, and then start levelling up the others.

I haven't got Ashe yet so can't comment on her abilities yet. But what about Basch, he has good strength. What does Vaan have over Basch?

I just levelled those three characters up first.

There was no particular reason for me to choose those characters.Stats had nothing to do with my decision.

Well, here's one more.

I managed to beat half the game(Paramina Rift) without a single Magick, so don't buy them until your party starts falling like flies.

Haven't played my console in about one and half years!! Looking forward to diving onto the world of Final Fantasy again. Already addicted.

Yeah, I was/am very much a console junkie (everday play) myself.
Couldn't find much time to play at the time, but mostly got into Rock Climbing, which had a very different thrill.
But I'm back now1 and off to buy a PS3 and Metal Gear 4!

Only the 3 characters out will gain EXP from battle, but ALL characters will gain LP.

So you basically have to choose a personal 3 favorites and use them. The other 3 is your reserve party. It's helpful to keep their levels close, but it can get hard and annoying after a while. You can always catch up your other characters with power leveling (such as the Neglamuur tactic) But other then that, yes you can only level 3 at a time.
