You can only get the Bazzar ingredient Godslayer's Badge after defeating Yiazmat. But that is really the final big battle in the game.
Is it just something to aim for, if you want to collect every single item in the game for instance, or is there a use.
Combined with the Genji Gloves and haste it could be pretty useful.

It is, sadly, useless, because to get it you need to have beaten the two last bosses in the game, and it's not even as powerful as tournesol, it's just a trophy really.

I would consider it probably THE most powerful weapon excluding its charge time due to the fact that it has an 80% combo chance with 130 attack power. Nothing else has anything close to that. Masamune is only 40% at 93 attack.

But yes, it can only be used in a couple of scenarios. The rare game, and Zodiark are the two most practical uses.

Wyrmhero Blade can also be used for some fun in Bahamut.

80 CT makes me want to cry though.

However, it can be useful if hasted with the Genji gloves...You can use a Cat ear hood which would make it alot faster and it has a high multi hit rate anyway so it is still useful then.

Tbh, for most of the game, deathbringers are incredibly useful. Zodiac Spear can be gotten extremely early so that can be a long term useful weapon. Tournesol takes a little while longer to get because you are going to have to find a really good way to make money before you can even buy it aka Mirrorknights or Dark Lords which require you to either be at the Feywood, or defeat Zeromus who is a bitch solely because you can't use magick so good luck healing.

It is not that great. Unless, you don't have like Ultima Blade or Saggitarius or something. I just got it because I 100% every FF I have.

Its not too bad if you haste and berserk the character using it. The CT get faster to a point where it doesnt seem so bad.

Berserk + Haste brings it up to the speed of a normal character not hasted, which is alright. It has an 80% combo rate, so when it does fill, you usually get about 3-4 hits from it, and the sound it makes, I don't really mind that.

And about the people that complain that all the big bosses (Yiazmat and Omega) are already beaten so there is nothing to use it on, the Wyrmhero Blade has a holy element. Yiazmat absorbs holy, and Omega absorbs everything, or is immune to everything, so the Wyrmhero Blade would be useless against them anyways. However, it would be nice against some the hunts, mainly Bohemeth King.
