If you need Gil, fast, I think this is one of the best ways there is. You need to have completed the Stillshrine Of Miriam and also already defeated the esper in there, Zeromus. Since you must have done this, then you are strong enough to get some gil now.
Basically, go back to where you fought Zeromus, inside there the dead skulls will attack. Each time you enter, there are about 40-50 that will pop up to attack you. After that certain number, I have left the game for 15 minutes and no more appeared, so I think there is a limit. Once you get through 40 or so, go hit the way stone, and use it twice to get back to the same place, where you fight the Zeromus and the skulls. Because you are only fighting the skulls and 40 appear each time you do this, it takes about three times and you will be at a chain of 99 by the time you get through three times. And also, they drop lots of Blood soaked bones, which sell for 1400 or so a piece. In 15 minutes I had 99 of then that sell for 142,000 or so gil. They also drop some dark stones, at 99 sell for around 14K, and some teleport stones which you can use or sell.
So in 15 minutes, I had 99 blood soaked bones and about 60 dark stones worth around 150,000 Gil.
Then just rinse and repeat. You can get all the gil you will ever need from this real fast.

Yeah, I've noticed that there are quite a few very good places to grind money. And as higher you get in level as more money you can grind since more profitable areas become available.

That's probably the best Skeleton Respawn area i've heard of yet, i'm gonna definetly try this.

Zeromus is pretty difficult, only because of those Skull Guys that keep popping up. I was Mid 40's when I beat him, though it was hard, and it took me a good 7 tries to do it (because of those skulls). But i pretty much kept attacking straight up, and when I would see the 5 skulls out, I would use a quickening on Zeromus, making sure to chain, that way I could also take out the Skulls in the final blast i.e. Inferno. Then I kept pounding Zeromus as much as I could until too many skulls showed up. Traded guys out to use more quickenings and so on. He is hard at lower levels, (also becuase your magick is locked.) Have lots of Pheonix downs and set gambit to ally - phoenix down. The time I beat him i had really good chains in my quieckenings, like always above 10 and i got my highest against him ever, which was 18. I remember that I got the 18 on the first use of it, which took his life down to half, thats why i beat him.

my god...does that mean that fight wont be any problem for me? Because if it took you 7 tries and you were at the mid 40s and im not evan close to that fight yet and my Main character is at level 55 my lowest level character is only 19 but im fighting to get her level up...my other two characters I use most are levels 50 and 54 ...then...my last two characters are both level 40 ...Im about to go fight Dr. Cid for the first time....im going to kick his ass ...Im going to get Penelo to level 40 before I go fight him though...should only take about an hour

Well Vaan was mid 40's I think the rest were high thirties. Ya you should not have a problem at your levels. Just go in a kick his butt. If you can take out the Skull guys fast then do that, i couldnt kill them fast enough so I just hoped for a high chain in quickenings to take care of them.

I like doing my chain's out in the Feywood, Mirror Knight combo's. Lots of Mirror Knight's dropping Mirror Armor, Earth and Wind Crystals, and of course Windslicer Pinion's (approx. 1100 Gil per).

I built up a huge chain really fast killing them and got 99 Windslicer Pinions and the Crystals in about 30 minutes. Even the zoning screen is quick to get through.

But I think your combo works even better. I already got 600k Gil though so I don't think i'll need anymore for a while.

Ill remember that...hey...have you gotten Adrammelech yet?...and what level were you when you went after him...I was thinking of going after him before I fought Cid...Probly should have gotten him a while ago

Adrammlech is level 39 with 39,630 HP. He's the easiest esper to get, but he is a flying monster, so make sure you got your party with good range weapons.

yeah i know that, but I tried to fight him and he kicked my ass...Well I saw that he only had 39,630 hp so I figured since my main three characters are levels 55, 53 and 54 so I figured he would be no problem for my guys...well...I was wrong...evan though the Strategy guide says that you should wait untel you have Cureaja I figured I would still be able to beat him...guess not...I should keep trying though, but I figured Ill just wait a while longer...The only reason I kept loseing is because of those damn guys that keep poping out of the ground and when he cast Thundaja on me it stopped all of my characters...haha...oh well

Holy, I raped Adrammelech at like level 45.

If you are far enough in the game to get Telekinesis (at special area in Necrohol of Nabudis) that should make this Esper battle, a cakewalk (of course I had Reddas helping ). If not just have everyone using a combination of Gun's, Bomb's, X-bow's, or Bow's.

He's not that difficult. Not even any special conditions like that bastard Zeromus, and Chuchulainn (now that was a bitch of a Esper battle).
