re: "Auto-Leveling Trick" - leave PS2 "on" overnight to gain 50+ levels |

My characters are all in the 80's. I'm using this trick but it seems its taken really long. Does anyone have an average time for my characters to reach level 99???

its mostly for people who are going through the game again doing challenges or something, i personally havent tried this because im still on my first time through. As previously stated theres an auto leveling trick in every final fantasy game.

amazing little strategy here, found it very useful getting to super high lvls without any real effort, though did have some problems at first with the confuse status and my lvl 40ish charecters beating the snot out of me with 2-6 hit combos, took some work and thinking to figure out how to stop killing myself with my own 3-4k crits which never friggin happen that often when i'm hitting an enemy, still good stuff and hats off to the inventor of this trick

Theres one bad thing i found about this trick, as it took me over 30 minutes to find him. Yeah its worth it, but when i went there i went through 70 remedies in barely over an hour. My chain was only at 207 when i ran out of remedies.
But the good part is, if you do have the raise on, then you dont actually need remedies. I trained longer than i had with remedies when i didnt have any. So speaking, this works without remedies also, as long as you can make sure you watch the screen occasionaly. *theres my 2 cents*

Hello
I think this is an awesome idea and I can't wait to try it out. But I have one problem. I have all the gambits needed except for Foe: <3,000-Attack. I've checked the gambit shops in Nalbina, Rabanastre, and Bujherba but I can't find it. Can anyone tell me where I can find it? If it's relevant, I just finished the Stilshrine of Miriam area and my main groups average level is around 29 ------------------- Do not fear the reaper... Unless he is beckoning to you...

I think I have a gambit that targets a foe with the least amount of MP..would that work? Since the ghasts should have less mp...

i think that gambit is at balfonheim's store?
I didn't use the remedies so i chanced my raising when he doomed a character. It failed about avg once an hour so I didn't do the overnight thing but would mass watch TV shows on DVD and check after every episode... It easily got my reserve characters up to speed but my regular guys are too high for me to be patient enough to keep checking on them. 5 hours spent on this got me all the teleport stones I will ever need to do side quests though! Recommend that anyone thinking about this strategy give it a try because it is pretty nifty.

port balfonheim's gambit store - just look at the town map for the yellow diamond icon. That's the symbol for gambit shop.
