I'm just going to post a warning, make sure you don't have the battle harness equipped or anything else that could trigger a counter. This could end your chain pretty quickly =)

Make sure that you defeat every enemy in the area each and every time you try to leave and reenter. It will take several trips sometimes but check everywhere around and make sure that no creatures have respawned. It does take a while but eventually the Negalmuur will show.

re: "Auto-Leveling Trick" - leave PS2 "on" overnight to gain 50+ levels |
quote BlurPandaBlur, Here is how you do it. That place has shape like this: -----<TT>------- ------[]-------- ------[]-------- -----[NN]====<SS> ------[]-------- ------[]-------- -----[BB]------- ------[]-------- ------[]-------- -----<DD>------- NN - place where Nagalmuur spawns TT - teleport room (the one with "altar" in the middle SS - room with the save crystal BB - bid stone dude with lifted axe DD - Exit OK, now, after you enter this room =Sword of King= for the first time there will be few mobs, guys with the stone axes and dark mare. You kill them all. Now go back to altar-teleport and back to the opposite side door, few will respawn again. Anyway, stay in that room for 10-15 minutes by running from one end to the other and kill spawned mobs on the way. After mobs are down and stopped respawning go to the save crystal room SS and start reentering from there back into the Sword King room. But every time you reenter you will have to go from point SS to point DD to check if no more axe-guys respawned and they do few times, not all of them, sometimes one by one, sometimes 2 at a time. But if you miss one of them its like a waste of minutes. So what I would suggest, from my experience, after you did throughful room cleaning, reenter it few times and exit while making sure that there is no mobs left from point SS to point DD. After you notice that they stopped spawning completely (it will take about 10 minutes of reentering and killing) you can simply skip part NN - DD and do only SS - NN. So you go to save room turn around enter SoK, run to NN point, no Negalmuur?, turn around, go to save room again and repeat. It takes sometimes 20 minutes just to get him spawn in EMPTY area. 20 minutes of repetetive SS-NN-SS route. Now you GOTTA get him to spawn with this kinda directions. Good luck. ------------------- Play games - stay young.

If you leave the area and the shrine without killing him, will he eventually show up again?

Every time you power off the console you reset all the rooms. So to get him back you will have to repeat all steps - killing all mobs, swiping the area and then reentering it to spawn him again. Its a pain yes. I would say without those tippets that give X2 exp this leveling is not very fast. It took me about 3 nights to get from 30 to 70. You need those tippets equipped, then it makes sense to level.
Otherwise prepare to run it for a few times to get some decent levels. Because without Remedies it ain't gonna work, and even 99 remedies will be used in about 6-7 hours I think. Or even sooner. Anyway, I have 3 characters leveled to 70 I don't think I will be leveling 3 others. I am not THAT hardcore ------------------- Play games - stay young.

this plan isn't EXACTLY fool-proof...
negalmuur can still kill your party leader but only when he gets a big combo.... ( i just thought that i should let people know this because i went to sleep at night and i was level 50 but when i woke up i was level 52 and the screen was saying to pick a new party leader...so you should probably check it every few hours...)

quote bigT4yahit's probably your mistake. i had that happen to me once and i realise it's the gambit problem. make SURE you have 2 none party leaders to have their gambits on ALLY: PARTY LEADER - Remedy and then make sure you have a third character that is your party leader.

99 Remedies is not enough to keep it going all night.

ok i tried getting to this area after i finished getting maeteus. when i tried doing this i was lvl 55 and i was at the light house and finished the 95+ floors for the sun krist (this part destroyed the dawn shard and sword of kings). now i tried doing this auto leveling and it wont even let me teleport down to the area for this auto-leveling.
is it still possible to do this trick even though ive finished a certain part of the game that takes the dawn shard from me?? id like a quick answer please and thank you
