Forgive me if this has been covered already, but i cant seem to get to the area that Zodiark has been placed... the Online and Brady Guidebooks all say to talk to Geomancer Yugelu once i have control of at least 10 Espers, and i have 12... i have Vaan and Fran at 99 and Panelo at 86 so i dont think its a lvl restriction thing (guess ive been playing FFXI too long to evan worry about lvl restriction). He would only say, "the earth it moves even to the north" or something like that, and even after checking the gate in the Henne Mines he still said the same thing, so i got to talking to the other NPCs thinking it was something i missed. I killed 3 different marks that are related to the Jahara (that ghost, the weird giant thing with 2 feet that likes to step on people and even Catoblepas) and now all he says is "You have defeated the Catoblepas? you have done us an honor.. blah blah blah". I didnt wanna waste anyone's time by posting on a forum or anything but realy, im stumped T.T what did i miss? =( am i too low a rank or something? i mean i have Genji and Fafnir's head on my wall next to the fish tank (lol trophy jokes) but maybe i gotta be higher i guess. I just dont kno lol. Well if anyone else has had this problem, any help will be appreciated. and if this was covered already from someone else with the same problem, my appolegies for wasting anyones time

Yes Zodiac at Mid-East area of Henne Mines, you can acces to there from the place where you beat Tiamat and its have couple of secret path which you cant believe the map totally, try to explore a bit you'll meet him eventually.. Zodiac is much easier from Ultima.. that all I can say (:

u can reach the secret area of the henne mines from the feywood as well....I believe its in the mid west area of the map for feywood....that's how I got in there anyway....hope this helps

yea, ive looked around in the Henne mines afew times and there are afew hidden areas around the tunnles back by those horse-demon things, but no NPC T.T as for the back entrance from Fey-wood, i go in and see 2 or 3 lvl 60~ bats and then i get stopped cuz a huge wrecked cart is blocking my way T.T
is there a different entrance besides those 2 i can take? or are there other hidden paths in the mines i should kno about?
i realy dont kno what i could be missing to get the NPC to appear/talk to me =( watch it be something very innocent and stupid that i overlooked ><;

I had a similar problem. The Brady guide forgets to mention you need to complete a few other mark hunts in Jahara before he mentions anything about Zodiark. I'm not sure which ones are related, but if you go down your hunt list and just start completing hunts commissioned by the citizens of Jahara he'll bring it up eventually

I know that the Mindflayer and the Catoblepas need to be completed, those were the two hang-ups I had

Don't forget yer black masks and to steal a Serpentarus when you finally meet him
