I've gotten the Beastlord horns and Sagg Gems but the only thing which i have trouble getting my hands on is the moon ring. I only got 1 from the ring wrym hunt. I managed to get the wrym to spawn once at the same place i killed Exodus and thats it.

No matter how many times i reload, it doesnt appear.

Anyone knows where else i can get the moon rings from?

u can get it easily from the ash wyrm the problem is that he dont re spawn if u do the (go away two places from there) u need to save inside the camp and restart ur game and hes gonna be there again.

i have hear a lot off ppl complaining bout its hard to get the moon rings but i did it fast and quick

dont forget the thief cuffs i dont remember if u have to steal from him ..im sure its a drop for what i remember.

Go steal it from Ashwyrms in the Great Crystal upper section. It may take a long time depending on your luck and how many chain u make.

What i did to get my Moon Rings:

#1: Ring wyrm mob hunt
#2: Drops from Ashwyrm in Mosphoran Highwaste. I would save, kill it, and if i don't get a moon ring i would just quit and go back to the title screen.
#3: Same method as #2.

Zertinan Slimes are the easiest way... By 58-Chain I had stolen my 4th one. Use Thief's Cuffs as I'm sure that's the only way I was able to. Aggro them from the ceiling, steal from them all in the zone, maybe one or two will divide, then go 2 quick zones over through Zertinan and re-zone to find 7-8 more steal chances.

You can get the Sagittarius gems from slimes in Zertinan Caverns??? Man- I just spent a good hour or two getting my 4 (for the Sag.Bow) chaining hecteyes (about 80) in Henne Mines Dig Phase 2 (near the room where you fight Zodiark). They were a pain. Damn Thundaga and Confuse. If you go that route, make sure you take a lot of remedies and smelling salts.

I had a Level 70 chain going on with the ash wyrms and STILL NOOOOOO MOON RINGS I gave up. Why does this game have to be based on random LUCK??????

It IS luck, I probably killed that many too.

You can get the Ash Wyrm to show up 100% if you leave the Highwaste totally.

Here's what you do: teleport to the Nabreus Deadlands, go to the area just before the Teleport crystal, the area with the Emeralditans (turtles), not the area with the Leynirs (horses). You'll see swamp and the focalors (fish) right away, take a RIGHT and walk around the brown rock area. You should be able to get 2-3 Foobars, you can steal Saggitarius gems from them, it's a pretty easy steal compared to the slimes in Zertinan. Plus you're closer to a gate crystal.

After you get the Foobars you can 2-zone if you want past the gate crystal to re-spawn the Foobars OR you can immediately teleport back to the Highwaste for another go at the Ash Wyrm.

If you keep doing this route, you can really max out your efforts. It's not a total waste doing the Ash Wyrm, the chest that appears while going up there does have the occasional Hi Ether, which you'll need for later battles and can't be bought.

Be suprised than, I went through over 50 Oilings (stealing with thiefs cuffs) and got 0 Sagittarius gems. I finally just went on my way since I know I'll get them from Fubars later on.

Weird how i got sagg bow yesterday! Everything went smoothly with the Horns and Gems... Deadlands for Gems, and Highwaste for Horn and Ring... sad to say i went with the Highwaste Ash Wyrm for Rings!!! nearly killed my PS2! its soooo annoying! its seriously horrible! im not gonna lie!

If you think getting the Sagg was horrible just try getting the Tournesol, Grand Helm, Yagyu Darkblade and Danjuro. XP

Getting those will make seem getting the Sagg a picnic in comparison. XP

Regarding the Ash Wyrm, does it respawn like other monsters or do you have to pull the Negalmuur trick?
