I have a question, in fact I have two:

1- Where is the urn containing the Map of the Westersand?

2-Do we need to go to every platform in the Great Crystal to have the completed map, or maybe there isn't a map for the Great Crystal??

I would appreciate any help at all, since I am only missing this two areas...

Westersand you're gonna have to search on your own I believe.

As for the Great Crystal you DO NOT need to complete that map since there isn't one.

So all you need to do is Dalmasca Westersand.

Isn't the Westersand map in the 2nd area? I could be mistaken.

The Westersand Map can be bought from the Cartographer's Guild moogle in the Southern Plaza right after you finished the Barheim Passage for 550 gil.

I have a question considering the Old Dalan figure, too. Are there any maps that you can't go back and get if you missed them?

Just to note that simply having the maps wont help, you actually have to go and EXPLORE each and every section of every map to get Dalan.

Yes exactly what Krunal just said you have to explore the maps that means every bit of the map has to be filled in the lighter shade (not the darker shade you get when you buy the map.)

does anyone know where to get the map of pharos subterra? thats the only one i cant find

To get old dalan in the sky pirates den. you do not, and i repeat do not need to get all the maps. you just need to go to ever area of the region. Ie. if its shadded dark, go over there so it turns brighter, that's all. need to visit all areas.

Hmmm. Does Draklor Labratory count towards Dalan? As far as I can tell, that's the only map I *don't* have completely filled in (I've done all of Subterra, and Henne Mines as far as I can tell--haven't unlocked the 'back entrance' though, but that part of the map still looks to show as filled in). Subterra's the only one that doesn't have a 'map' symbol beside it. :-/

D'oh! I think I may have found it, possibly--I haven't gone in the Hell Wyrm's room yet (no, not the local one. ;-) ) *checks* Yeah, that's still dark. Question answered!

I'd like to clear things up a bit.
To those who said you need to explore each map, you are WRONG, you just need to have the whole map, with no missing sections, which you can get either by finding/buying the map, or exploring manualy. I know this to be fact because i have old dalan and i have not manually explored every map, just buying or finding the map is enough.
Also, you don't need all of draklor, i don't. the other places you can't go back to, e.g. malbina dungeons, dreadnaught leviathan, you get given tha maps automatically.
