Well this thread is for your defense strategies . . . when i first picked up the game I couldn't defend for sh*t . . . but tehn I discovered the almighty block . . .

Now I just stand in the paint and block every ball that comes near the hoop . . . and I do it with a 5'7" woman

I do the exact same thing, and my guy is 6'10"!
I hate stealing

stealing leaves you very vulnerable . . . i usually keep dime on my team and let the CPU control her and she does the stealing for me

Exactly. Dime and Bonafide help alot. And I like Wilt "The STilt" Chamberlain under the basket.

Well I unlocked him by beating him but I never put him on my team . . . and I haven’t created a team with him so that means I haven’t ever used him

ok i have the shortest women in the game as a create-a-baller, with maxed out stats. so i figured i should be able to block and dunk on anybody. however, when ever I play my friend, his create-a-baller always throws me down, whether blocking or dunking, any comments on why? i've come close to killing him b/c i figured he was cheating, but he isn't. oh yea, his '85 jordan also does this to me. and he is not even maxed out.

well if his created player is taller and bigger than your very short woman he's gunna slam you down. And 85 Jordan is the best legend in the game. Maybe that has something to do with it. Official stats aren't everything.

actually that's not always true . . you have to pump up the power stat and time your jump better . . . my 5'7" woman rarely gives up the ground

Yeah power's a big thing. That and blocks will help you. I just think they should've added one more stat. Jumping. that would be cool to have different heights for different players.

yeah that would have been neat but I hate how you can only max out one stat
