@_@ Man, I totally feel for you there. I had to go out and buy a new D-Pad after paying almost $100 for the game and XboX Live together... the Biggie XboX Standard Controller was beyond dismal. After getting plastered all over the walls by like rank R players and stuff for about 10 matches straight, I made a mad dash back to the store. Now I'm doing a lot better, but I really want that Gamester Stick like you're planning, just have to find a store that carries it in my area.

Here's a mini-review I found recently that should make you feel a little better about the controller (if you haven't read it already, it is kinda easy to find):

This Xbox joystick worked will with CVS2. Being a joystick, it fared better
than all of the controllers, with easier access to all buttons and the stick
greatly aids the circular motions of this 2d fighting game.

There is a slot for the Xbox Live headset, but some users (myself included)
heard a lot of static when using this. I tried some of my friend's sticks,
and heard no static on some and static on others, so voice is more or less
a maybe on this one.

EO mode not available with this stick.

The stick itself is somewhat less sensitive than the typical arcade stick, so
arcade players might find themselves having to mentally adjust for that.

For the low $17 asking price, this stick is a real bargain, and better than
any controller.

On the same note, I'm looking for a good gamepad. Using a crappy MadCatz one right now that does the job, but it's kinda sticky. I heard the Standard XboX S-Pad is similar to the old Sega Saturn Pads though, which were really awesome. Anyone using an S-Pad, can they confirm this?

The Controller-S is actually extremely similar to the Sega Dreamcast's controllers, with slight changes. Check it out here.

(I sent a friends request to yer Gamertag recently, just to let ya know ^^)

Sweet, so basically... it's the old pad, with all of it's features... but smaller, more universal, and (hopefully) with a better D-Pad for fighters. Not that the other D-Pad was bad, but for fighters it was pretty horrible.

I was thinking of getting an X-Arcade sometime in the future, but I've gotta save up. ^^
