 Topic: house redoran quests bug (i think)

i am in both the thieves guild and house redoran. the thieves guild told me to get a key to Orden Nerano's (or something like that) key, well i killed him. now the redoran house asks me to stop this orden from spreading slander( though he is already dead). I dont know how to make them understand that Orden is dead, or forfit the quest so i can advance.

Sorry but I don't think you have a way around this. I also killed him and had to reload and do it again. Sorry, thats not much help.

Thanks anyway. I guess i'll have to just skip the redoran quests, because alot of time have past since i killed him and alot of things have been done

Yeah or join House Hlaalu, then you actually skip a mission but get rewarded for it for killing him!

The House Hlaalu way is impossible, because you can only join one Great House in the entire game, and if you've joined House Redoran, you can't join House Hlaalu.

There is no possible way to fix this on Xbox. The problem is you people don't try the alternitave way than killing Ondres Nerano. Go to the council club and speak with the person that habasi mentioned that is Nerano's servant he has a key and all you have to do is bribe him for it.

There is, apparently, a guy you can talk to and he will resurect dead, story-required, characters with some exceptions. But I can't remember who, or where, he is at the moment. I read it in a FAQ I found online, possibly from GameFaqs.com.

You can join House Hlaalu even if you're already in House Redoran, but it requires cheating.
**CHEAT** Open the console with tilde (above Tab, it looks like ` and ~) and enter the following: player->PCJoinFaction "Great House Hlaalu" It might also be: player->pcjoinfaction "House Hlaalu" If one doesn't work, try the other. If both don't work, manipulate and experiment a little. **END CHEAT** You could also try the PlaceAtPC one above, that should work, and it'd be easier than going through the Hlaalu quests. -------------------  | |
