Recap:

Dr. Greggory House is the head of a special team of doctors at the Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. He takes only the most difficult cases and it is his teams job to diagnose patients no one else can. He suffers from chronic pain, due to a misdiagnosis before the shows chronological start, and walks with a cane. Because of his leg House is in chronic pain and takes Vicodin to deal with the pain. Over the course of the show, many characters and plot lines have been devoted to House's possible abuse of the substance. After the death of one of his fellows, we are led to believe that House has quit taking Vicodin, but in the Season 5 finale we learn that it has caused him to begin halucinating. This prompts House to enter rehab and it is here that we will find him at the beginning of Season 6.

Just read an interview in TV Guide that suggested that House's old team was back in the mix. Hugh Laurie commented that it was the first time since season 3 that all four of them (Laurie, Epps, Spencer, and Morrison) had been in the same frame together.

Also, in the same interview, Laurie commented that the two hour premiere is going to be more like a movie (ala 24: Redemption) than a normal episode.

Maybe there won't even be a case??

1. That's great news. 24: Redemption was awesome.

2. Makes sense. They still need to make the transition from House as a mental patient back to House as a practicing doctor at some point.

I laughed when House said "You guys are crazy." in the trailer. Haha.

The note on that snakes on a cane thing "I deluded myself into thinking I was crazy" seems like itll definitely be a line in the show. Apparently they took some time to cast the doctor who runs the psych facility and I can see House using that line on him.

Also, and this made me smile, the doctor's name is Nolan

I'm just hoping they don't resolve the whole mental ward thing in one (or two) episodes. The guy clearly went through a debilitating collapse into dependency at the end of last season, to cheapen it with a couple "gimmick" episodes would upset me.

Other than that, I'm pumped. Let's see where this thing goes.

Looks awesome, except trendy said what I was about to. They shouldn't just throw the aslyum stuff away after a few episodes. If it's important enough to end the season then at least give it a good storyline.

I so cannot wait for House Season 6 i just got finished House season 5 on DVD. this is one of my favorite shows that i would even watch on TV besides 24,Prison Break,Lost,Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles,Dark Angel.

Most TV shows suck nowadays if you know what i mean.

I'm on my 4th/5th watch-through of House atm. On disc one of season 2. I know most episodes like the back of my hand, but some are still fun. I was hoping to watch season 6 AS SOON AS i finished the season 5 finale. Oh well

That happened with me for Season 5 of 24. Had never seen the show before, decided to watch season 1 on a Monday. Loved it. Found out Season 5 was premiering on Sunday. So, I had a mission. Rush order 2-4. Got them on Wednesday. Watched the whole show through and finsihed the last episode of 4 probably 20 minutes before Season 5 started. Palmer got shot 3 minutes in and I cried.
