ive never heard of the original series before, and actually only heard about this series about 5 mins before it started i was looking around on Tivo and noticed it.

cant say it was super impressive to me TBH, just didnt hook me. i might watch the rest if there are only 4 eps total for now.

I missed the 1983 version which had aired on SyFy yesterday I watched the premiere and I thought it was okay, but for some reason I'm just not that into it or next week's preview. I'll watch next week's, but if I don't like it, I'll likely stop watching then.

That sucks, normally they put episodes of their shows up the morning after they air. Although it doesn't say that in the listings, normally it does when ABC puts out episodes synopses. Maybe it'll be on iTunes, but I wouldn't download it now unless it's free.

wasnt much, just that the guy the girl whacked and 2 other guys are sleeper Vs, one is a black dude who you see with a human woman near the end and she doesnt know he's a V.

also big surprise, the kid Tyler is in love with that young V chick, so theres gonna be a lame teen romance sub plot.

I liked, held my interest and was paced out well enough for a first episode.

What night does it air?

Tonight. It's on Tuesdays at 8 PM ET on ABC, at least tonight and the next 2 weeks. Then it goes on hiatus until March.

Edit: How funny/ironic that a show I liken to Battlestar Galactica has a BG alum appearing tonight-Rekha Sharma appears as a guest star in tonight's episode.

Probably so ABC could sample it during the November Sweeps and get it some good ratings. Also, that's all that's been done so far, production is halted until January. And December generally means reruns and a ton of pre-emptions and ABC's also got college football, so either way we'd be talking mid-January for best-case.

Just thought I would point this out...but in the beginning of the episode where the girl V Lisa takes a picture of herself on the kids cell phone. She wasn't smiling when she takes the picture but when he looks at the picture she is smiling.
