re: Dexter |

This shit probably happened when he was a child or something. My rough theory is that his dad got the shit beat out of him by a blunt object, his sister cut herself in the bathtub and bled out, and his mom jumped off a building.
Doubtful but it's all I've got with the information given. -------------------

Maybe Trinity is bipolar or something. I'm quite surprised that Trinity has a family though. Wasn't Lundy rambling on how Trinity keeps moving cities to cities?Doesn't make sense if he has a family. Unless its quite recent.

That's what I was saying. I guess he just goes on a lot of "business trips" then. But throughout the past two seasons, Harry has been telling Dexter that he can't have it all. He can't be a successful serial killer and have a family but seeing Trinity with a family like this proves to Dexter that he can indeed have a family and his dark passenger.
Also another addition to my theory. Lundy stated that the third victim was always a man with two children. If this does represent his father, then it could verify the sister part of my theory as well. Can you tell I really like this show? -------------------

Damn Kirby. I never thought about it like that and your theory definitely makes sense. I'm sure it's not even close to the actual story because 90% of the time fan theories are usually dead wrong.

Especially since none of us could have predicted Trinity had a family.

Maybe the father of two means dexter could be a target since he has two children (sort of)?

Lol yeah that baby hasn't really been that important in the season aside from getting Dexter into a car crash.

I reckon Dexter's going to kill his entire family including children at the climax of this season. The actress who plays Rita (Julie Benz) recently spoke to the press about the ending of this season, which "shocked the whole cast". Usually when someone speaks to the press about a show ending, it's an actor involved in it, especially one who could end up exiting the show. It's like a little courtesy thing shows do to give their outgoing actors a profile by allowing them to do the show promotion tours on chatshows and other interviews before they move on to a new show. Everything's pointing that way with Dexter realising he doesn't actually care about his family most of the time and they only get in his road. Rita's starting to grate and the kids are a dead-end plotwise.
It would certainly keep things fresh by having Dexter abandon his code yet again and shake things up for next season instead of another year of "big bad while killing insignificant criminals along the way and balancing a shaky home life". It's kinda boring in terms of how disinterested the police are in him. The show's at its best when someone's right behind him in investigations. ------------------- Kiefer Sutherland on ending 24: "I see Jack as a really human figure and there is something innately tragic about people. Now that I think about it more, I don't think Trinity shot Lundy and Deb (I did before, even before this last episode). Think about it, when Trinity sees Lundy dead on the TV, he gets really upset and takes it out on the waitress. Before now, we've always seen Trinity as an extremely polite and charming guy. It seems like it would take something major, like having your 15 year game of cat-and-mouse with your only adversary stolen from you, to make him so bitter in public.
Kirbyking, I really like the sound of that theory. I could definitely see that happening. Kuds, that'd be nuts. That would really bring the show to an entirely new level, and give us something very fresh for next season. My biggest problem with it though is killing the kids, how the *bleep* is Showtime ever going to allow that? That's seriously brutal stuff. I guess they could come up with a way in which Rita is the big on screen climactic kill, and the kids are just implied off screen, but still... that's intense stuff. ------------------- ![]()

I don't think Dexter will be able to kill Trinity. He may be able to at present but I don't think Trinity killed Lundy, and once Dexter finds that out, he won't be able to because it wasn't him that hurt Debbie.
This season looks set to be the best since the first. Two and three couldn't up to the first which was one of the best seasons on television for quite a while in my opinion. The last two I found I'd lose attention watching them, this time as soon as an episode is uploaded on line (UK viewer) I'm all over it. Really looking forward to see how Dexter and Trinity interact with each other. ------------------- ![]() English by Birth, Fulham by the grace of God

Yeah I have to agree that its best when the police is chasing Dex. Season 2 i believe was my favorite when he killed the black police dude. Plus lots of nudity that season

I agree completely Pyroguy, Trinity is far too planned out to do a random mugging of two off duty cops, even if it is to bump off a lead investigator. It'll either be Anton or Dexter's sister's partner, the shaven headed cop who's *bleep*ing the reporter. He's always had a thing for Debbie.

I don't think it's Anton. He doesn't seem like the kind of guy to breakdown over a girl. He's a musician. Girls fly at his pants all the time I'm sure.
I have to disagree with Dexter killing off his family; at least intentionally. He's stated many times in the series with a very serious face that he'd never hurt those kids. The only viable scenario that I could think of that is similar is that maybe Rita gets caught in the crossfire and Dexter accidentally kills her like how Oscar Prado was killed. -------------------
