Using FOT:BoS from the command prompt

Hey, can you kick life into fallout tactics during LAN-gaming, if you hook it up with the target IP adress? I would guess you could, but i don't have the computers to try just yet (i have to wait a week, or so). It would rock the boxxors, and i think that since FOT:BoS is "Powered" by Gamespy, you can relieve FOT:BoS from GS' parasitic presence and play it with local adresses rather than using a central server browser that connects you to the ispernet. Of course, if FOT:BoS tries to connect to the websinthere, then the case we study is truly a dead animal. Such a shame, but one's madness and manic behaviour keeps one going for crazy things like this.
