honestly, when I battle with animations on and when i get into a battle its like this:


ME = Them

so i do this all the time for some reason.
--> + keep tapping A

i just hold the direction down toward the enemy (be it left or right) and keep tapping A real fast and my guys do more damage than when i dont do it!

i dont wanna sound crazy, but i probably do, i really think it adds power to your guys's damage, but it only works with animation on.

When I used to play PKMN Red, I remember whenever I used Razor Leaf, I would always move the controls to do what it was doing.

But I kind of stopped doing it once I was past age 5, lol.

you have your directional pad, and your A button.

when the battle screen comes up, you know, when your guys shoot other guys. Your men are on one side of the screen and the enemy is on the other side.
*SCREEN IS BELOW*

now since the enemy is on the RIGHT side of the screen, you hold down RIGHT on your DIRECTIONAL PAD, --->

when your guys start to fire on the enemy, you TAP the A button, not hold the A button, TAP THE A BUTTON.
thats as clear as it gets.

Won't work in new ones cause pressing A when battle = skips the battle.

It wouldn't work anyway, are you saying that they'll usually like to 6 damage when it's 55% or something?

(for some reason I always seem to get an 8 - 5 situation in a Infantry-Infantry/Mech-Mech/Tank-Tank/MD Tank-MD Tank/Neotank-Neotank/Sub-Sub/Fighter-Fighter situation with no cover.)

i think that depends on the CO your using as well, then you wont get 8-5 all the time.

Silent_Nightmare, it's just luck. Everyone has it, not just Nell and Flak.

But it does depend on which CO you're using, because Andy (everyone except Nell, Sonja and Flak) has 10% Luck, Nell's I think is 15% and Sonja's is probably 5% or somewhere between 5-10%.

Flak's is unknown to me ut he is a Luck based CO so it should be higher than averrage.

Flak has a chance to do extra damage or less damage, so when you think about it, he really has no chance to do anything. But he does depend on luck, I agree with you. Its possible that you will have a luck streak and deal more damage, or its possible you won't and deal less.

I've always wanted to use him, but its just not that effective at all.

Flak has either 25% Luck or -25% luck, if I know correctly, maybe it's eiter 15% or -15%. I can't remember.

Exactly. And when you subtract them...

you get 0%.

So its pointless.
