OK, I was under the assumption you could get Sturm with an A rank in NC, I did this but I got Nell, Adder, Lash and Hawke, no sturm..I bought sound room and HC to see but no luck. So am I SOL? Or can Sturm be aquired by completeing all the war room maps?

You require an S-Rank - an A-Rank gets you Nell, but not Sturm.

Does that require completing ALL missions, or can I get S on all the ones I do and skip some?

you can skip a few, you just need a S-rank average.

Its definitly an S rank for Sturm, its is clearly stated in several strategy guides and such.

First time I completed the campaign, I got an A rank, but no Sturm. Just Nell. Then, the second time I complete it, I get an S rank and I could buy him at Battle Maps. Pretty easy to do if you have skill, knowledge, brawn lol, and... other stuff.

I only unlocked Sturm after completing it for a fourth time after three times getting an A I got an S on my fourth playthrough
I got lucky on the last mission though Eagle my third player had a neotank next to the deathray on the last turn I used it to destroy the deathray and finished with an overall S rank when the staff credits were over I went into Battlemaps and I realized my hard work had paid off

ps:how many missions about can you pass??? and still get an s rank ive got an a rank in two b in one(liberation og did it in 4 days!! but forgot to hurt anyone) and missed out 2 more and an s rank fer one

you can skip 3 missions each country, but if you skip ONE, you won't unlock sturm. (I think you can skip the factory missions)

I skipped most of the missions I didn't get an S on

build a Bomber asap then move it near the Seam but hold it there without destroying the seam until you destroy a few of Flak's units first
it's kinda hard cause in this mission Flak magically grows 2 braincells
