in your opinion what is the best race and class to be in the game

Man the best race and class.....cmon think about this,ok ill tell u...there are way to many races and classes to give a best one,especially since there have been so many balancing done to each one....so all im sayin is it depends on the player:

Ok i kno i talk to much...but im goin to go ahead and say i like usin ranged and/or a magic based class

i perfer enchanter necromancer warrior paladin or druid and race i perfer gnome half elf or dark elf later

Iksar monks are so cool. Maybe not the best, but I enjoyed being one. Loved being an iksar shaman as well. =P The faction is the only thing that sucks.

I wouldnt say Iksar monks are THE BEST. I will admit that they do have better starting stats, and better AC starting off. But they suffer from one of the biggest disadvantages. People of the old world hate the Iksar with a passion. So if you plan to play an iksar monk wich isnt a bad idea, but not a good one either, Be prepared to do alot of faction killing in order to participate in most of the old world quests.

Valid points made there, but that doesn't really bug me too much since my guildmates help me out a lot. =)
