Girl's Game? |
|
I was talking with one of my female friends earlier, and i brought up the subject of how I'm getting a hardcore metal pad (check the image at the bottom of the post), and she said "That's awesome, but isn't this a girl's game?"
Now, I don't know about all you guys that play this game, but that really pissed me off. I told her that the only people that I know that are really good at this (that I've SEEN play) are guys. I'm not saying that girls can't pwn at this game too. Quite the contrary. But I'm also saying that this is no girl's game! What are your opinions on this? >_< ![]() ------------------- ![]() Happy Mother's Day. This signature was edited on May 14, 2006.

I mostly see guys playing this game more than girls at the arcades such as PGA, MGL, SGL, etc. I'm mostly like the only female there playing but some of them aren't really better than me or any of my friends. You can also take the fact that this game wasn't meant to be made for a particular gender. It's made for both genders and ages.

That's what I was thinking, Terminal. Almost the exact same thing. This game wasn't made to come across to a specific gender or age group. In my opinion, I think this game can be fun to anyone that's coordinated! Maybe I should show her some of the tournement videos, and see what she thinks of those guys
Which brings me to something else.... We need to see girls entering tournys too! Terminal, get out there and make a routine! Impress me! ------------------- ![]() Happy Mother's Day. This signature was edited on May 14, 2006.

Ha, this is not a girls game at all. I only know one girl who plays this game, and thats my sisters friend. (only because my friend has this game).
This game is not for any specific gender. But if anything its more played by guys than girls, but it doesn't really matter.

This sure as hell isn't a just-for-girls game. This is for both genders. I mean, I went to a ski arcade around where I live (Hidden Valley, anyone?), and a whole lot of 17-19 year old kids (and me, 13 back then) were lining up to play it. Cool.

Well it was made for the youth in Japan, which is about equivalent to a 6 year old girl in America, but girls seem to not be very good anyway.

I'm the only girl I've ever seen playing anywhere. Mainly it's guys. Lol. I've had many of my, girl, friends come over to my house and "try" to play...

This is not a girl's game. Anybody who demoralizes somebody for playing this is either jealous, stupid, attention-deprived, or any combination of the three.

I don't think it's a girl's game. It's for both genders. Most of my guy friends play it, that's why I'm close to them. And at arcades... you guessed it! Only guys.
I got my friends(girls)over to play it the other day, it was so hilarious!!In the end, they all got E's ------------------- "Love is when mommy see's daddy on

Girls could easily just as good as any guy, and many are, it's just that less girls play and those who do don't take it as seriously.
