I don't know most of the DDR terms (such as what a 5 foot song is, or cross paterns), and was thinking that we should have a thread pretty much like a DDR dictionary!
Now yes, I do know there's a dictionary on ddrfreak.com, but I thought this would be more fun.... Plus, they left some stuff out So, instead of starting us out with some definitions, I'll start out with some questions lol - What is a(n) [insert number] foot song? ex. - 10 foot song. - What is a cross patern? That's all I've got at the moment, but I'm sure I'll think of some more stuff that I don't know soon enough ------------------- ![]() Happy Mother's Day. A cross pattern is where a bunch of steps come up. Such as:
Left, Down, Up, Left, Right, Left Examples of cross patterns are in The legend of Max, Max 300, MaxX Unlimited, etc. The number of feet in a song is how hard that song is. A 10 foot song is the hardest while a 1 foot one is the easiest. | |

Actually, the hardest songs are "flashing" 10s, and you only see those in arcades or maybe JP versions. They're "flashing" because the foot rating flashes brightly.
