PADS- Which one? |
|
I was thinking about getting the RED OCTANE 2.0 Soft Pad (100$)
Becuase now i have a mad catz 20$ softpad.. i like it but it moves around too much.. has anyone used this pad and recommends it? Or should i go with a metal one.. i hear the metal pads have problems. But ive also heard there's only a 60 day warrenty on the red octane 2.0 pad.. . and that it dies after 60 days.. I use the pad for an hour a day.. mostly on the Light setting Any response on that? or can you recommend any good metal pads under 125$ Also on ebay they have all those MyMypads they are counterfit red octane 2.0 pads.. has anyone used those? are they any good.. they seem to be half the priceo n ebay Thanks- Daniel

Consider a soft Konami mat. That's the highest quality beginner's mat you can get. It's good for anything up to most songs on Standard. Only get a RedOctane if you're ready to go to Heavy.

Uh, just said it. It's the one bundled with the games. It used to be sold on its own, and I was one of the lucky few who bought one. But I've moved on.
Condition of pads will vary and it depends on how the person maintains their pad.

only get a metal pad if your gonna play heavy a lot. otherwise soft pads are pretty good except they slide a lot. Note that not all metal pads are good so the best are probably Redoctane, Cobalt Flux if you can afford them.

Well, pads? I prefer Tampax but if I can't get one then I'll go for one of the generic brands out of the bathroom pad vending machines.
Oh, you mean DANCE pads. Well, I currently have a screwed up 3rd party wireless pad that costed 30 bucks. It only works half the time. I want a better quality one but I want to be able to take it different places because I'm always visiting my cousin and we love this game but if we actually want to play it, we gotta go to the arcade to play with our feet because, my soft pad doesn't work on his carpet though. >_< Metal pads look too heavy to be carrying. ------------------- ![]() Speedsk8er
