So, have any of you ever attempted to 100% complete the original Crash? If so, were you successful? And which levels did you struggle on?

I'm attempting it now, it's not as hard as I thought it would be. I've got some of the harder gems from levels like Slippery Climb, The Lost City, and Toxic Waste.

I have completed it 100%, took me 2 weeks.

I had to replay Fumbling In The Dark the most, maybe about 50 times.

Update: I finished my 100% run on Tuesday. Pretty proud of myself. ^^

11 years and still haven't completed it 100%.

Might have taken me the same amount of time. Hmmm... maybe 9-10 years to get 100% . I hated Slippery Climb the most.

Road to Nowhere... omg thanks for reminding me how much i disliked that level lol. Slippery Climb was nowhere was bad as that level. I've lost count with the number of times I've fallen off the ropes. Thought i could take the "easy route" and just run on the ropes. Those turtle shells near the end sucks too. It's like you have to know exactly how long to press because too long or too short would mean you would miss that one or two pieces of wood X.x.

100% this game a year or so ago.

The levels with the dark ruins with cobras coming out of the ground, as well as cortex time or whatever level that is with the multiple paths, were testicle-squeezingly hard.

I'm sure you mean Temple Ruins, and Jaws of Darkness, and Cortex Power

I completed it 100% only about 2 weeks ago. Road to nowhere and fumbling in the dark were probably the worst for me, i lost around 130 lives between them . But the satisfaction you get when you 100% it is amazing .

Fumbling in the dark was really the hardest level for me too, I tried it about 40 times.
I completed it after about 15 times but forgot the 6 boxes at the beginning!
In the end I got it and the satisfaction was, indeed, really awesome.

I'm only about 80% or something (haven't played it in ages) but I never really found Fumbling In The Dark, and Road to Nowhere too hard, really. Slippery Climb on the other hand though <_< Damn near impossible!
