F/A-18 and Windows XP |
|
I have been unsuccessful in getting my computer (Windows XP) to run Jane's F/A - 18. I've downloaded the patch (1.01) but it still boots me out to desktop when I select "Fly". Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please email me at clintwalker@telus.net rather than posting your answers here as I won't be able to get back to check this forum until too late.

I ran a system check on my PC with Windows XP Home Edition (full edition, not the Upgrade) before I overwrote my Windows ME OS, and the message for this sofware that I also have was that "there are known compatibility issues with this software and XP that may not be possible to resolve. I don't have the actual message in front of me, but 1) I found the diagnostic utility to be fairly accurate relative to other sites on the compatibilities and 2) it sounded severe enough that I was not even going to try reinstalling on Windows XP machine unless at least 2-3 posts out there were positive on a resolution.
