just curious, i know arthas and illidan are like uber to all of us, but i honestly think uther could pretty much hang with both of them.

It is my personal belief that Uther is a bit underrated when people determine the powerful people in WC. Doesn't the fact that Arthas beat Illidan 1 on 1, but had to bring his undead minions just to kill Uther, tell us something?

Arthus owns Illidan, proven well enough at the end of the game.

As far as Arthus vsing Uther, well he had his minions when he killed Uther, but he was at a very low level at the time. If he was as strong as he was when he vsed Illidan, Arthus would kick Uther's butt. We are talking Arthus here. Connected to the power of Ner'zul to some degree (even before they merged) and wielding Frostmourne, while on top of it all, being Ner'zul's first and most powerful Death Knight and Champion of the Scourge on top of it. Illidan was infused with the Skull of Ner'zul and had the Orb Of Kil'jaden and still got his ass kicked. Uther just wouldn't stand a chance, he has no super items or super power. He's just a paladin. His only real advantage is Divine Shield. Holy Light can't be self cast and Arthus is a Death Knight, they aren't some physically weak Lich so casting on Arthus isn't going to do a whole lot of damage, just as casting Death Coil on Uther isn't really gonna make too much difference. Arthus and Uther both have aura's so we may as well forget about them, they won't get an edge with them. All things considered, Uther really doesn't stand a chance.

As far as Uther vs Illidan. I'm going with Illidan here. Skull of Ner'zul and the Orb of Kil'jaden is just gonna own Uther. Then he has Mana Burn, Immo, Evasion, and the very sweet ultimate, Meta. Just no contest.

I find it odd how this thread sprang up considering that Arthas fought both of these people and beat them both before he fused with the Lich King.

The answer, without arguement, actually is "Arthas".

DH rules all in 1v1 combat. Illidan is a DH. The LK must have helped Arthas a LOT, since they were "equal" even before Illidan had stolen the skull & recieved huge power, and now Arthas is even weaker and he beats Illidan? Yeah, right, as certainly as a Warden is useful.

Also, lvl 5 DH>lvl 10 DK. Uther would've kicked Arthas's ass with 45(!!!)second divi shield + holy lighting the censored outta him. He could divi vs Illidan too, but Illidan is a DH, and DH has the fastest movement speed in the game, and paladin has average.

if you compare arthas and uther fighting solo at the same level, i think uther would win because he has more armor from aura and has greater stats than arthas anyways.

illidan would beat them both though because of all his spells would work against arthas and uther and he is so cool
