I'm new to the forums, but I'm looking for a place where I can kind of post and discuss strategy and whatnot... I play as Night Elf, and I'd say I'm a moderately good player... I mean, despite B.nets ELL system, I tend to have higher than 50% in solo, playing some decent people.

Anyway, the point is... my understanding of NE vs UD is largely BM + archers, til tier 2 for mass dryads... but I'm wondering if this is the same strat to use regardless of map?

I've also seen Panda + Warden used, but I don't know that my micro is good enough to handle that against a decent UD with their horrible garg harass...

I dunno, I guess I'll stop there for now til I know that there are actually people here that are interested in talking about this.

It's perfectly fine to discuss strategy here, however this isn't the most active of forums...

Sadly I can't give much more insight since this is actually one of my least favourite match-ups... I have seen some success with night elves who go bears (may sound strange to go bears vs gargs) who rely mostly on the warden and panda to deal with the gargs, bof/haze and FOK usually together with a couple of poison orbs. The problem with dryads are that they die very easily to a turtling undead, a undead player will very rarely face off outside of their base, and dryads die very easily to towers and focus fire from gargs.
The bears take very little damage from gargs and can also stand up better against towers, the rejuv also helps keeping your heroes alive.

Can't say much else, stack up on items for the heroes, mana pots, anti-magic potion and poison orbs are all a must have.
