re: Weekend Releases & Box Office Report

I can see it being #1 for Valentine's Day weekend, but your guess is as good as mine for it's second weekend. Perhaps because Constantine was rated-R, which prevented some minors from getting in. That and it wasn't in nearly as many theaters as Hitch, but it still did pretty damn well at #2.

While I'm on the subject of Hitch, what do people see in Will Smith. He's not funny, he can't rap and yet he's still on top? wtf, I want some justice!

Bahhh. He's one of those mainstream-ish actors. Chicks like him cos he's funny and good lookin; dudes like him cos he's an action star... and cos he's funny at times. And he's an overall good guy actor. Families dig that. An actor that can play goofy ass characters like he did in the MIB flicks and also can play the serious-but-not-that-serious action star actor like he did in the Bad Boys flicks. He can be good at time... I guess. I'm not going to go see Hitch though... looks dumb.

I wouldn't give Will all the credit..It's obvious everyone is going to see the movie because of Kevin James.

I'm more upset that Son of the mask made any money at all.

How good can Diary of a Mad Black Woman be? ... trailers didn't look appealing at all.

I've never even heard of that film, let alone seen a trailer...

Hitch is holding up, damn. Cursed only got number 4? Maybe I'll wait for DVD release...

re: Weekend Releases & Box Office Report

No wait until their giving Cursed away as free coasters at Arby's P_L.

This movie is garbage, I payed matinee prices, and I still want my money back. You have a movie about werewolves, and the scenes with actual werewolves are few and far between. If you want to see a movie were two actors deal with the effects of potentially becoming a werewolf's they go see it.
The dialog goes like this for about the first hour "What's wrong with us? I don't know I think we bear the mark of the beast what should we do?"

Best part of Cursed was I got to see a preview for Sin City.

I recommend you buy Teenwolf over this movie.
