re: Box Office Report

Just to let everyone know, a really good place that has all the box office stats is Box Office Mojo. I go there every day; at noon they release the stats for the day before, so it is very prompt!

And sorry if this is considered advertising to another site. TLA, you can delete this if you have to!

re: Box Office Report

Nah, I don't consider that advertising. But this thread is for the Weekend Box Office Gross being as that's what the film industries look at for breaking records, etc. I wouldn't want to imagine what this thread would look like if it were updated for the Daily Box Office Gross

But thanks for the link, I'll place it in the sub-header for those who want to follow along on a daily basis

I was really surprised on the success of Bruce Almighty. I've heard a lot of good reviews from Mags/TV/Friends & Family. But you know what, you can't go wrong with a Jim Carey flick.

Finding Nemo regained the #1 Position from an over-hyped sequel. I knew 2F2F would only be #1 for one week, and one week only (and that would be it's opening week, then everyone would realize it's crap and it'd slip down the chart, as what's already happening)

Glad that Finding Nemo got number 1 this week. And I'm glad Hollywood Homicide beat Dumb and Dumber 2.

As was expected, Hulk came out at #1...though not as much as the Studio was expecting (roughly around 70M), but close enough.....

The thing I find funny....From Justin to Kelly didn't even make the Top 10.. Though, the frightening thing about that too is, they did almost manage 3M their opening weekend
Jesus Christ, there's a lot more idiots out in this world than I realized

Whoa!..Hulk took a surprising drop this week

I don't expect Charlie's Angels to last another day as #1, Terminator 3 will rank #1 for the next several weeks; in fact, at it's Midnight Opening tomorrow night (Tusday), I guarantee it'll make more money on it's 1st Night, than Charlie's Angels has made it's entire first 6 Days I'm predicting it to pass the 100Million mark after this next weekend.

Oh...and LoL @ From Justin to Kelly

Charlie's Angels are in first? Come on now why? I've seen the flick and it was crap all the way through.

the reason Charles angels was #1 is because you got these 13 year old boys going to see this movie because you get to see women in bikini's and tight clothes. Oh well i have not seen the movie because the first one sucked i hope it drops dramatically so they will not make another one.

T3 will swamp everything when it comes out. It has to be the movie of the summer. Why did they make a Justin to Kelly movie? That is the dumbest thing I have heard in my life.

Damn..looks like I was 30M off on my prediction; and that was from a 5 Day Opening ; At least it crushed that stupid Legally Blonde: Red, White and Retarded

The Matrix is about 30M from hitting the 300M mark, it came in at #11, and X2 came in at #14...but again:

LMFAO @ From Justin to Kelly!! How bad can a film be when it goes from #17 to #51 within a week! Good hell that's funny
