That doesn't look bad, but what's with the 'High School Musical' dance routines? Hoping those are short fantasy sequences

At first I saw the title and thought "30 Days of Night sequel plz" then I read the plot and thought "stupid pointless love movie no thanks" then I saw that JGL was in it and realized this movie is obviously win... except for that stupid animated bird on his hand in the dance sequence.
Oh yeah and The Worst Trailer of the Year so far goes to... *bleep* that voiceover was annoying. -------------------

Yeah. I've been coming across some gold lately when it comes to upcoming movies. If you get a chance check out the Franklyn one I posted about too. I hope this movie plays in this area. We have an Indie theater I always go to, but they only play films that make money so if this movie bombs in the box office the theater doesn't even give it a second thought.
And the narrator is trying to do a cross between Morgan Freeman and something else. ![]() -------------------

There is another thread, but I'll close it and we'll use this one.
Still say JGL should be the next Joker. The pics I put up months ago in TDK thread were eerily too similar.

Trailer looks ok I guess, didn't really blow me away, though it does have miss Deschanel so i'll be seeing it for that at least.

Trailer was shit, but I'll see the movie just because of JGL.

The film seems alright from what I've read but the trailer was absolutely dreadful. That guy's voice sounded so awkward and out of place it was unreal.

Eh? I'm 75% certain the voice-over is satirical and not supposed to be taken seriously.
As for the film itself, I'm really looking forward to it. Got pretty good write-ups by critics at the Sundance Festival and Zooey Deschanel might just be the most alluring woman in the world atm. This message was edited by The Dave on Feb 10 2009. -------------------

Voting has ended? Damnit Pyro, way to crush my hopes of changing movie history. I'm not even sure I'm being sarcastic.
Love the new trailer, I've always thought Us by Regina Spektor would make perfect background music for a film trailer. Stereogum got their hands on the indie-tastic soundtrack for the film which includes Spektor's Us:
The Smiths - "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" Belle & Sebastian - "The Boy With The Arab Strap" Black Lips - "Bad Kids" The Smiths - "Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want" Patrick Swayze - "She's Like The Wind" Jack Penate - "Have I Been a Fool?" The Doves - "There Goes the Fear" Hall & Oates - "You Make My Dreams" Knight Rider Theme Temper Trap - "Sweet Disposition" Carla Bruni - "Quelqu'un M'a Dit" Black Lips - "Veni, Vidi, Vici" Paper Route - "The Music" Feist - "Mushaboom" Regina Spektor - "Hero" Spoon - "Infinite Pet" Simon & Garfunkel - "Bookends" Wolfmother - "Vagabond" Mumm-Rah - "She's Got You High" -------------------

I *bleep*ing hate the tagline: This is not a love story, this is a story about love.
Worse than the saying: The message below is true The message above is false
