Yeah I'm definitely picking up WET when it goes down a bit in pricing. It's got that 'Grindhouse' feel to it, over-the-top style and awesome-looking. And hell, Eliza Dushku does the voice of the main character.

I told you guys a while back in this thread that WET was a really fun game. It's a terrific rental, Storm. Don't waste your time buying it. You can beat the game in 6 or 7 hours.
It plays a lot like Stranglehold with all the slo-mo. WET has sweet quick-time events too, and the dialogue is funny. quote HawkeyeDude, my roomate loves Halo and really enjoys playing Rock Band 2 with me. She'd love another system out there, haha. I've been thinking of cancelling my order for the MW2 360 and not even getting the system again, but then I'd miss out on Mass Effect 2. That'd be tough. ME2 is gonna be so amazing. -------------------

I haven't rented a game since the SNES days though DMD, going to Blockbuster to pick up various ones with an older friend. I guess I should hit up GameFly, but eh, not sure yet. Some games I choose I probably wouldn't bother putting in the console, so would be a waste. :S

I have no idea, honestly. It's been like two years since I bought. I was told Microsoft would take it anyway.

You have a three year warranty from the start of when you bought it, for RRoD issues anyway. So yeah you should be good, Steely, call 'em up and give them your product key or whatever the hell is on the back of the console.
TF2 is a great game, Omega, takes a bit to get used to that's for sure. -------------------

TF2 really is awesome. I had so much fun with that multiplayer mode for a long while. Got annoying and I stopped playing because of persistent lag/disconnect issues though.
My favorite guy was probably the Engineer. Nothing better than setting up turrets and having them tear open people running into your base. I also took a liking to the Heavy. I loved walking around corners just mowin fools down with that big ass chain gun. And Storm; Just go to Hollywood and/or Blockbuster and rent some game for $8. I dont do it often; Probably like once every few months. Repeatedly buying games is just a waste on the wallet though, especially for titles you arent "OMG CANT WAIT FOR THIS" for. Still, you're the guy who buys the same game for different systems, so... -------------------

Yeah, I'll try again tonight when more people are on. No one was in a ranked match at all, and not many in regular matches.

There's thousands flocking the PC version.
Hm, yeah I think I'll just go back to Blockbuster then. I like to take my time with games too, so not sure about the due dates, but will see how it works out. And for the record, I only paid for one of the SFIV's, and that's the PC version, the other two was either a gift or my bro bought it. -------------------

So I'm on the XBox website registering my console for repair, and it says that the repair will cost $99.99?

Hm, are you sure it's been two years since you bought it? :S I'd call them up, it's easier.

It may have been longer, I'm not too sure. It did say my standard issue warranty was expired, so that leads me to believe I'm not covered anymore.
If that's the case, am I just better off buying a new one?
