I agree! The last game we did was like 2 years ago and the guy that made the game ended up leaving halfway so the game never ended

Couldn't have been that long ago, as I recall it being a year or less, seeing it, and seeing all of them answered right away. Never gave me a shot of trying to figure them out

I watched the 2009 Scream Awards. Much better than previous years. True Blood won a lot of their categories, Star Trek won best film or whatever their "Ultimate Scream" is. Good show. Starting to become the only award show I enjoy watching.

It's 4:13am and there's two more hours until the Left 4 Dead 2 demo finally comes out after all the delays, *bleep*. I put like 6 hours into Super Smash Bros Brawl to re-unlock all the characters today, and now I'm waiting for a demo and am getting no sleep. I'm super cool.

Just looking at all the Smackdown Chatter, is it a rental or worth a purchase?

Just got Tekken 6, I love Tekken, but I have to admit not enjoying the online, the lag is getting on my last nerve. I have a quality connection, and I play plenty of games such as Street Fighter 4 and rarely a problem, not sure what's the deal with Tekken.

re: Cinema Lounge Something Eight

Heh, I was thinking of playing SSBB again myself in the next few days. I love just playing random levels against random AI opponents for 10 minute intervals. I still have a bunch of challenges and trophies left to get in the game as well.

I noticed those awards were on tonight, but I'm not big on awards shows to begin with. I've spent the night doing marketing homework, and I have a long ways to go. So damn tired. I'm sick of college

SvR 10 has a good initial entertainment value, but once you go through the stories and a few modes, there's not much staying power. You can keep going by playing online, which has some lag which destroys my reversal ability. There's a career mode I haven't even gotten into, but not sure how it differs from the Road to Wrestlemania stories that last 12 weeks each for a half dozen stories. If you like being creative in games then the create a story mode will be good for you, though if you like using a lot of CAW's you'll be out of luck. Not only can you use all of your CAW's a grand total of 10 times in the mode (even if you use more than one CAW), but each CAW needs to be leveled up by playing out matches. It's fun for one CAW, but making a lot of them will wind up being a huge pain. With there being no GM Mode for people like me who enjoy fighting the CPU and want a good reason to do so, which the GM Mode provided, there's not much incentive for me to continue on once I get all of the achievements.

The 6am demo launch I was just waiting for, the early access that I get for pre-ordering...just got delayed again to 8:00pm tonight, when I stayed up till 5am. Holy shit biscuit, I'm enraged.

I really want Tekken 6. Gunna get it for Christmas though probably.

and sorry for ruining trail of convo again, just fury.

AMC keeps recycling the same crap. I expected better for my horror week. The time window keeps getting smaller and smaller every year. Soon, it'll only be a three day event, then just a one day, eventually a "Halloween horror programming, wuts dat?!"

Brawl codes people. I need to go see what mine is, but we should get a game going on that. Btw, is that L4D2 demo only exclusive to those who preorder it or will I be able to sign into my gold account and see it on marketplace?

Pre-order exclusive. Mine was on PC but the 360 pre-orderers have theirs already; good to know their home market is still number 1, sigh.

My Brawl code: 2321-5955-8947. Tell me if you add me and throw me yours and I'll return it.

re: Cinema Lounge Something Eight

Total BS. I waited for that L4D2 demo on the PC for the longest while, even pre-loaded the demo Friday. And to hear that the inferior 360 gamers get it first? Sigh...I can't help but think GameStop had a piece of the pie in this. They always do stupid pre-order bonuses to get guaranteed sales.

My Brawl code...I think it's on the Brawl forum somewhere, I'll search it up. Marth ftw.

On a side note, I too got Tekken 6 King, but for the PS3. Haven't gotten around to it yet because I'm so sucked into Borderlands, but it looks pretty decent. Thing is though, it's not a major choice for fighters that my friends and me usually bring up. We usually play MvC, DoA, SNKvsC, or something.

Tekken 6 on X360 for me, got a blu-ray player so just haven't got around to buying a PS3 (Probably will when God of War III releases next year.)

I'm in the same boat though my friends are into MVC, so we log a lot of time with that. I'm having a hard time talking them into getting Tekken 6. I was hesitant on Borderlands my brother told me he didn't like it at all. However my friends have been bothering me all day about getting a copy they can't get enough of it.

Borderlands is boring. The landscape and scenery all looks the same, it takes so many hits to kill enemies plus there's not 87 bajillion guns, it's the same ones, recycled on end with various tweaks in their level and power.

re: Cinema Lounge Something Eight

Save money, get Tekken 6. But as usual, when the price goes down. Be worth it at $30, maybe even at $40, definitely not a title for $60.

I was browsing the virtual console on the Wii, looking for something new to buy. Holy shit they released Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Golden Axe. Not so much thrilled about Golden Axe (even though it ate many of quarters back during my arcade days and I could have bought it earlier on Xbox Marketplace) but man ZAMN was one of those titles I always wanted as a kid but never got because I couldn't afford it myself and my parents never got it for me for Christmas/Birthday (since they're only days apart), yet I only was able to play it because my rich cousin had practically the entire *bleep*ing NES gaming catalog in his room and I always invited him over to stay for the weekend. Good times back then, good times.

Oh how I <3 Nintendo Wii VC. Now if only they can release other childhood favorites like "Kung Fu" and "T&C Surf Designs II: Thrilla's Surfari" on the virtual console. I always thought that was Donkey Kong in Thrilla's Surfari, now when I look back on it he resembles more Funky Kong. I'm trying to remember a few other games I played as a kid. One was this monster party or monster hunter title that I could not get past. I just remember going to the local video store and seeing this NES cover of all these iconic horror monsters like Dracula, Frankenstein, Creature from Black Lagoon, etc on it and thinking this game would be awesome. How wrong I was. Gameplay was horrible and the first level was so stupid that I couldn't even figure out how to get past it and ended up spending my entire weekend rental unsuccessfully failing at it. Level one pwnage. Almost as bad as the N64 Superman weekend rental. *bleep* that game too.

Little Nemo The Dream Master is another one I wished they would release on the VC. One of the Aventure Island games I used to have a blast playing but I can't figure out which one it was. The WiiWare came out with a new Adventure Island title, haven't got around to getting it yet even though I meant to, ended up buying something else at the time. There was actually one game I was trying to google, it played like one of the Adventure Island titles but none of them looked like it, then maybe I thought it was Bonk's Adventure but even that wasn't it. I'm stumped. Might just be shady memory of one of the Adventure Island titles. I remember it switched from a side-scroller to a behind your character view, kind of like in Contra during the second stage in the tunnels. During this part you had to jump across islands. Any guesses?

One last title down memory lane was this side-scroller barbarian game. I thought it was Conan but I can't find anything on it. I remember one of the earlier levels at the arcade there were all these skeleton enemies that you had to fight. It was another arcade game I spent hours playing. Damned if I can remember what it was. I mean the character literally looked like Conan. Big ass sword, buff dude, barbarian outfit. It's going to bug me until I remember this one because I can picture that first level so vividly. Like the level design were these dark brown rocks. It might have been a castle or just a mountain. *bleep* this is going to bug me.

re: Cinema Lounge Something Eight

Well Dungeon Fighter is free.

But have you tried Borderlands, TLA, or just assuming from things you've read or watched? Because I didn't think much of it, but once I tried the game, I was hooked. It's certainly keeping my mind off the fact that the L4D2 demo got to the inferior 360 before the PC.
