This strange and enigmatic race seem to be a people that thrive from the Chi in the environment, yet are presently contracting a disease known as Rheuma due to the fact of some disturbance with their great tree.

They do not appear to be a war based race, from what I see. And it looks like they could live harmoniously with the humans, if they both only tried to get along.

So why are the two races warring, and what is so unique about this race?

The Yason bear marks called Vindi that seem to allow them to harness the Chi. Does this make them stronger than humans?

Yason seem to be stronger physically, but humans have technology which can counter them.

I guess that is true.

However the Forbidden Magic was turned away by Amila when she used the Magna Carta.

I think the races should abide peacefully together rather than fighting, because the way I see it there doesn't seem to be anything for the two races to be fighting over.

It's like they are just fighting for fun and have no real motive other that the fact that their forefathers were fighting for one reason or another.

It could be a territorial thing, yet who would know?

The war originally started from territory and boundary disputes, then escalated to warfare.

Yes, that much seems apparent from the conversations that Calintz has with the locals of the villages he crosses.

But that is not a reason as to why the war is still continuing.

I like the uniqueness of Queen Amila's mask. Roxy, Queen Amila, and someone else are my favourite Yasons in the game.

Yes. I must agree that Amila is quite an interesting character, though I have not seen much of her in my game file considering I only just left that town with the doctor in it that tried to heal Reith.

I presume Notia? I think you will like Queen Amila a lot more towards the end of the game; that's when I started likeing her character. You will see her more, especially 3/4 of the way through the game.

I never got Amila. She kinda bugs me.

She started the war because her people were dying as a result of the humans.

And her mask is stupid.
