Hey, how many characters are you allowed to bring into the final chapter of FE6?

I'm at Chapter 12 and can't decide how many characters I should use, and more importantly who I should use. Thanks.

Check the FE6 boards. They've been quite lively lately.

you can bring 10 characters including Roy and Fa, of whom you must use.

the remaining 8 just needs to be good units who can wield weapons that have effective MT against dragons, because that's all you're going to be fighting. Big, honking dragons.

Only ten? Ugh.

I'll post current stats if need be, I'm at chapter 13 right now. I just want to know who I should train when in the last chapter I may not even use them.

EDIT: Currently not using Shin, Geese & Gonzales, though using Clarine as 2nd healer, and Lalum to dance, obviously. Though the latter two will not take part in the final battle.

I'd go on weaponry.

Durandal: Rutger
Armads: Gonzales, especially as you got Lalum.
Malte: Lance, Alan or Bors.
Migure/Miruge: Sue

Apocalypse: No mention of Ray? D: Leave this then.
Forblaze: Lilina
Aureola: Saul
Holy Maiden: Saul.

Outside of the legendary weaps, Wyrmslayers and strong magic users can handle dragons well. Use those to complement your team if you don't have enough S-rank units.

Could I give Dieck Armads instead? Considering I don't think I'll be using Gonzo. >_>

It's up to you, but Dieck gains an E in Axes during promotion. >.>

But who would I drop instead for Gonzales then? He's really just a big meatshield, since he can't hit anything. >_>

Fir's pretty weak, & I am using Rutger... Who is doing pretty well.

If you can train up Gonzales, he'd be one of your better axe users. I usually let him tear through cavaliers in the chapter that Miledy joins. >.>

He'd be my only axe-user really, considering Dieck, Alan, & Lance will all have better weapon choices by that point.

Ah well, so much for Fir. :/
