Not off topic my friend, thats why we have this thread.
Anyways... well... it's not so great... the hair color and shirt color is sorta weird. Stick to one color, don't mix two. Also, the hair seems a bit misplaced, and is too bright to match the rest. And there is some shirt on his neck. Don't worry though, all our first mugs are terrible lol. I'm not ever in my life gonna look at my first one ever again. Someone else can probrably help more though... I'm nowhere near being an expert spriter lol. ------------------- "Life will punch you in the nuts every chance it gets. Coloring is bad. Shading is bad.

Ephraim, Lloyd, Mathhew.
It's okay for a first try. For one, when coloring it in, you need to make them the same color, except slightly darker or lighter when next to each other. Take your hair for example. Does anyone you know in this world have purple hair, which looks like pink when there's a little light on it? No. If purple was your main, you should have taken the purple color, made it slightly lighter, then color it in. As for shading, don't try it yet. | |

...It wasn't really ment to be realistic as such (and your correct). I realise that the colours are whack
I plan to make more 'life-like' ones later. ------------------- ![]()

Guy's the best recolour, not that its saying much. Orson's hair looks too saturated and Legault's headband is missing its outline.

Well, with 3 entries, I figured that that made for 2 serious entries and one random joke one for each section. So I thought, what random joke could I do for a mug recolor? As I started playing around with Orson, I got that. I was gonna change, but upon remembering the chance for a joke, I figured... what the hell.

Well, here is a 'slightly' more normal try:
![]() I kinda couldn't get the hair right, so I kinda blended theirs both together to look semi-normal, the rest is pretty much the same. ------------------- ![]()

It works fine like my avatar at the moment, but when I made her facing right (>) it went over the limit, what the hell? Thanks man, couldn't get that thing down, but could when it was facing the other way, strange. Suppose I didn't try getting rid of the background...
EDIT: A couple of quick re-colours: ![]() The Tana one is the best of the bunch I think, but I didn't really have the time to 'fine' tune them as much as I would like. This message was edited by Aussie Legend on Feb 15 2008. ------------------- ![]()
