That's just not right. Was I RNG Screwed? Should I just stick to Pent now?
I'd use Nino but she is a pain. And if I'm not mistaken, there aren't any arenas after you get her, so that won't work.

That is not all that abnormal, quite frankly.

It is a little screwed, going off averages. You're about 4 magic down. Using Pent's probably a good idea, although it depends on what supports you already have and whether Erk is doing well in other areas.

As for raising Nino... you could always use the mine glitch and make every enemy ditch their weapons, if you really wanted to.

Probably.

But even if you were to abuse Nino, that would require a guiding ring to get her on the same level as Erk.

Plus she comes in late. Pent might be the best choice.

No, but that's what the now-stronger Nino is for.

When reinforcements start arriving from turn 2?

Then you kill those with other units until she gets strong enough to survive them.

Raising Nino is honestly not the chore people say it is.

If you can get Nino to raise a couple of levels, it makes all the difference in the world, because then she can do almost anything alone. Just give her some Afa's Drops the second you get her, level her up by weakening enemies, and letting her finish them off. Use a Guiding Ring and Voila, you have a walking tank that only gets better from there. My friend literally cleared the whole map of all units, reinforcements included, with Nino alone, in the chapter with Limstella, Victory or Death I believe it is called...

But anyways, yes, I would say you were definitely RNG screwed. Unless you have some energy rings, he's hardly worth using. Go with Pent or Nino if you feel up to it.
