Ste - I talked to Legatus about it. I'll be in the next chapter, worry not. I'm a healer.

& by the way, I discovered a sick game today.

Yeah, it's pretty amazing

Wow... Now that's got to be a dark relic of Shaq's past.

They still buffed the growths from the original but the growths are still pretty bad. But then again, we're just so used to having units with awesome growths in the modern games. So it takes getting used to I guess.

& yeah, it makes sense why Shaq didn't want to be a playable character in NBA Hangtime after that. xD

That looks pretty much epic.

re: General On Topic Discussion: The Resurrection Continues

It is pretty much epic. Although I have no idea how to do any moves or anything so it kind of makes it difficult to beat the computer who uses crazy combos.

By the way, I bought Baten Kaitos yesterday at GameStop. I was buying a memory card & controller, & the guy said anything else in the store that was used would be free, so I saw the game & picked it up & got it for free. Does anyone know anything about it? I just remember hearing from somewhere that it was good. I saw two discs & 60+ hours of gameplay so I jumped on it.

Baiten Kaitos?

It had an interesting battle system, but I can't remember how often I got screwed over by luck of the draw.

(I still need to finish that at some point.)

I figured since I heard it was good & that it was long, & being that it was free that I should get it.

How does the battle system work exactly? I've yet to play it.

re: General On Topic Discussion: The Resurrection Continues

I seem to recall it being some weird card battle type thing. I don't even know how it worked, but I seem to recall Adam Sessler whining about it on X-Play.

re: General On Topic Discussion: The Resurrection Continues

So it turns out the Gamestop guy gave me the prequel to the original accidentally. The story is interesting so far, although the battles for random generics take too long. It uses the card type battle system, which really reminds me of this game.

I also hate games where you have to go to a save point to save, since I'm walking around a town & I can't find a save point. What kind of town - in any RPG - doesn't have a savepoint in a town? It's ludicrous.

Although I plan on returning it to get the actual game soon.

re: General On Topic Discussion: The Resurrection Continues

I'm mildly annoyed by savepoint style games, but they have their good points.

re: General On Topic Discussion: The Resurrection Continues

Well yeah, some of my favorite games require save points. Tales of Symphonia & Paper Mario, but the save points seemed to basically be accessible during any point in the game. Baiten Kaitos Origins seems to have a limited number of them, which is inconvenient to me. >_>

By the way, is Tana any good in FE8? I want to try using her instead of Cormag but it seems risky to use her in Ephraim's mode without doing the tedious monster skirmishes.

You kinda remind me of a guy I know... He's a bit bigger, though, since he's a forward on my rugby team. Great player.
