Yeah, there's truth to that. I didn't even think of just the obvious conclusion that the pegasus knights were just better. >_> Since the wyverns outclass them in just about every other game.

Whoops.

Has FE7 become nostalgic for any of you, like it has for me?

Yes it has. Partly because it took up so much of my time back in 2004-2005, and even a little beyond that.

Yeah, same here, I honestly don't think I'll ever forget this game or this forum.

Fire Emblem introduced me to SRPGs. Tbh I haven't found a better entry in the genre yet.

re: General On Topic Discussion: The Resurrection Continues

I find nostalgia in things that have yet to happen to me, so yeah, FE7 has an air of nostalgia when I play it, although being that I play it so often, & started only a few years ago, it's yet to really be as nostalgic as say Mario Kart 64, or Wave Race, or some old N64 game.

I'm more nostalgic about the FE7 forum, if anything. Probably the best internet community I've ever been apart of.

re: General On Topic Discussion: The Resurrection Continues

Yeah, the forum is sentimental to me in a way. Sad that most of the people I met here back then are gone.

I wouldn't say it was the best forum I've ever participated in, though.

re: General On Topic Discussion: The Resurrection Continues

I didn't go to too many before Neo, although the few I did go to, I was branded as a noob who posted way too much. With the exception of GameTalk, where I actually had friends. The Dragon Warriors Monsters 2 official forum wasn't so kind to the young Appledaddy.

Which was the best, in your opinion?

I have, but they're absolute bitches to get into the UK and I probably overhype them anyway. >_>

re: General On Topic Discussion: The Resurrection Continues

I don't think I've really got into any excluding Fire Emblem, tbh.
Which is odd considering it's my favorite series.

re: General On Topic Discussion: The Resurrection Continues

FE's a good SRPG, I've found maybe one or two SRPGs that I prefer to it, but it still remains one of my favourites.

FE7 introduced me to spriting. So yeah, <3

The thing with FE7

Is its the only FE where using the peggies is better than using the wyverns. >_>

I think FE5's Karin was pretty good, though.
