re: Looking Back: Who Remembers...? |
quote Ranger 1Yeah, it's kind of strange. Twelvie was mature for a long time & then just lost it, as he got older, bizarrely enough. I miss the days when I could go to an online forum & get enjoyment out of the conversation. Unless I'm here talking with you guys about old times, I feel out of place, or that I should be doing more important things. >_> But yeah, tonight I realized how much I missed 'the old days'. Considering I'm up late for the first time in a while, & there's absolutely no one online to talk to. Bah. But back on topic, I do remember the Seven Songs well. It's what got me into spriting, actually, since I wanted to make sprites beyond Franzerk. xD This shirt is extremely fitting for this topic of conversation. ------------------- ![]()

I just miss intelligent conversation. I cannot seem to find it anywhere. I don't even hang out with my friends much anymore. They just seem so stupid to me. >_>
Yes, it's been like that for over a year I think xD I just fixed it though, thanks for pointing it out to me. I haven't been on that 'edit profile' page in years. Brought back memories of my youth, & when I didn't have this avatar. But yeah, the old days always seemed better. I'm sure in a year or two & I'll be nostalgic about being nostalgic about the old days haha. ------------------- ![]()

I know how you feel. You'd think there'd be intelligent people at college. Apparently not so much.

Once I finish the scene I've been working on using Satchel, I'll post it for you guys to read or something. Hopefully it'll be something we can all enjoy.
The character might be a little different than before in terms of personality, but that's only natural with age. I'm going for a more aloof guy. -------------------

I'm sure everyone missed me.
I missed learning about FE. I was such a newbie, I remember the days when I didn't even know that 6 other FE's came before the American release...I was such a newb...

I remember when I couldn't figure out what the little up and down arrows next to your weapons were when you attacked.

That one confused me too for a while there. And for the longest time I thought critical hits were instant kills.

re: Looking Back: Who Remembers...? |
quote Ranger 1Yeah, my friends are terrible. They've taken a liking to calling me 'puss puss', which I simply will not stand for, & just haven't managed to have a conversation seriously with them in months. Ha, I'm trying to get into the best school I can get into just to try to get with really smart people who can converse intelligently. If I could get into NYU, I'd be pretty happy, although it's totally a long shot. ------------------- ![]()

I'm supposedly in one of the best colleges in the country, and they're idiots. But such is life.

quote tomato13187Darnit, now I get the image of a guy wearing boots and a wide-brim hat brandishing a rapier. Half the people in my college were idiots. At least now that I'm in a university, the general level of intelligence has gone up quite a bit. -------------------
